Thanks, Admin edit

Thank you for your warm welcome! I see Wikipedia is a freindly and community is a strong point. I recently requested for a rollback and administratorship. {{helpme}} Please can this be granted? I am a worker who helps fight cyber vandalism and bullying and have signed up to the CVU. Also, I strongly approve of Wikipedia and would like to assist it in any way, shape or form! Can you grant these please (rollback and admin!)? {{helpme}} Thanks a lot, JAF3993

It doesn't work that way. You have less than 20 edits! None have to do with reverting vandalism. You obviously have no experience (your RfA didn't even transclude) and people have to vote (if they even find it!). Who is User:JAF3? It all smells very fishy to me.  fetchcomms 20:01, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

(edit conflict - i.e., I was writing this at the same time as Fetchcomms) The place to apply for rollback is WP:RFR, but before granting it an admin will want to see evidence of considerable experience in vandalism reversion, so as to be sure that you will understand when and when not to use it. For becoming an admin, see WP:Guide to requests for adminship and read it carefully; also look at some WP:RFAs to see what the process is like, particularly some unsuccesful ones from this list; once again, the community will want to see considerable experience before approving you for adminship. There are no formal minimum standards, but it is rare for a new admin to be appointed with less than six months' experience and 3,000 edits. My advice would be to concentrate on finding useful things to do and gain Wikipedia experience, and forget about rollback for at least two or three weeks and adminship for several months. It would be a very large COI for him to vote. I'm still not very sure about your story anyhow. Either way, you have no chance whatsoever, honestly speaking. I think it would be prudent for you to get some experience around here (you don't know how to use a tb template either!) and ask your "coworker" to get a new account.  fetchcomms 20:13, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hm, so you just tell each other your "work pass" numbers? Regardless, listen to what JohnCD had to say.  fetchcomms 20:20, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}} edit

immediate assistance needed! {{helpme}}

Please ask a question, and no, we will not give you rollback or adminship. Also, use one template only.  fetchcomms 20:48, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}} How do I stop fetchcomms bullying me?

It's hard to believe that Fetchcomms is bullying you, but if he really does, I think it would be best to ask him to stop bullying. Please use helpme-template if you need advice on wikipedia-related problems, not to ask how to stop someone from bullying you.  Ilyushka88 Talk to me 12:19, 14 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Helpme edit

{{helpme}} Can you create me a swanky, cool, show-off user page?

Bullying edit

Ilyushka88 is very correct. You have to realize that after a while, there are some "warning signs" of a sort, which makes me a little more careful. For example, it was very unusual for me to see our requests on your page, for your friend to have a similar username, or for you to put multiple help tags on one page at once. I may have overreacted, but shouting "SHUT UP" on my talk page is incorrect as well. I apologize for this incident, and hope that you will as well. However, I would ask that you please not rush to accuse me (Kate told me that two wrongs don't make a right, something we both should pay more attention to). Also, to prevent these things from happening again, I would ask that you please familiarize yourself with our policies and guidelines. Sometimes it really is quite frustrating after a while. Again, sorry.  fetchcomms 19:40, 14 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
