Second WIKISOO class starts soon! edit

Hi! Just a quick reminder that the second WIKISOO class starts in about 3 hours. Even if you missed Week 1, please join us at this link for the live webinar - ideally about 15 minutes early to test your mic/speakers. If you haven’t finished up your Week 1 homework, there’s still time; post any questions on the class talk page! You can also watch a video of last week’s class on YouTube (earlier audio problems have been corrected). Feel free to contact me on my talk page with questions anytime! - WIKISOO co-instructor Sara FB (talk) 22:03, 4 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

WIKISOO Week 3 edit

Hi Ismenelik, we look forward to seeing you in class in a few hours. We look forward to seeing you in class in a few hours. Here's the link to our Week 3 class page and to the live webinar.

PLEASE NOTE: If you're not in the USA, please double-check the class time. We have gone on Daylight Savings Time (also known as Summer Time) in the USA, so for some of you the class time will be an hour earlier. (If your country goes on Summer Time in the coming weeks, you will want to check again!)

This week we are going to start off with some basic review of all we've covered. So if you've been feeling behind or confused by all the details, we'll make sure we've got your questions answered before forging ahead! See you soon, -Pete (talk) 16:27, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Wikipedia Library: New Account Coordinators Needed edit

Hi Books & Bytes recipients: The Wikipedia Library has been expanding rapidly and we need some help! We currently have 10 signups for free account access open and several more in the works... In order to help with those signups, distribute access codes, and manage accounts we'll need 2-3 more Account Coordinators.

It takes about an hour to get up and running and then only takes a couple hours per week, flexible depending upon your schedule and routine. If you're interested in helping out, please drop a note in the next week at my talk page or shoot me an email at: jorlowitz gmail.com. Phil Edmund moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Phil Edmund, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 23:07, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Supporting Phil Edmund article edit

Hello! I'd love to support getting your Draft:Phil Edmund draft article into mainspace -- I enjoyed looking up additional information for the article and learning about his work and community. I believe the main next step would be making a case for WP:MUSICBIO eligibility on the talk page of the draft article -- which criteria does Edmund best meet, and what sources best provide evidence for it? I'm not sure which criteria would be best, since I don't know the subject as well as you do, but if you can make a reasonable case for it using those criteria, I'd be happy to move it to mainspace. Let me know how I can help. Dreamyshade (talk) 17:27, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
