Stubs

edit

Please don't waste other editors' time by adding {{stub}} to an article like Southeastern Universities Research Association which already has specific stub tags, in the right place. And please note that all stub tags go at the bottom, not the top, per WP:ORDER. Thanks. PamD 07:58, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Formal language

edit

Please do not introduce informal terms like "it's" for "it is" as you did in this edit. They are not used in this encyclopedia. See MOS:CONTRACTION. Thanks. PamD 08:05, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Game Boy Macro moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Game Boy Macro, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.   Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the iOS article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement: "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike".

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the Help Desk. You can also leave a message on my talk page. --Yamla (talk) 11:22, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Game Boy Macro

edit

Hello, IoanUK. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Game Boy Macro".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 21:19, 21 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
