Removing Visitor attraction category edit

What the hell? Since when are mountains not visitor attractions? I know plenty of people who go to places specifically to hike one mountain or another, go camping, and so on. Mountains are absolutely visitor attractions. I'm reverting your removal of the category. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 08:53, 3 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Answered on your talk page. I just do not think every mountain needs to be entered in the category, just because it exists.imars (talk) 14:33, 3 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mount Toyoni (Erimo) edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mount Toyoni (Erimo), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Mount Toyoni. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 21:10, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Shinhidaka edit

Thanks. It's nice to know there are people who get interested in the least populated, but definitely beautiful, part of the country. The flag image is made by me, based on the municipal emblem info from the official website, and the real flag photo image which I can't remember the address right now. I needed to see the photo since the town, like many others in Japan, only legitimates the emblem. Its flag is only used conventionally without written rules. If just emblems (rather then flags) are fine, the easiest and possibly the safest way to show the images may be to download these from the municipal official websites and re-upload them (on Wikipedia, not on Commons) as fair use images. Chinese Wikipedia do so for many Japanese municipalities, like Hidaka, Samani, or Erimo. Kzaral (talk) 13:52, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Man o'War edit

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this topic re: vandalism and MOW's ranking in the aforementioned publication. I do have the book and can verify that MOW is listed at #1, et al. You can also see the list from an independent source: See this page link to the publication from google books. Page 5 of the viewing shows the entire list.

Thanks for trying to lock the vandal out. No idea why he/she is so hellbent on trying to adjust one group of sporting publisher's list of the top 100. That book's ranking merely is what it is. I don't think they intended to be the final word on the subject. Thanks. --Kellsboro Jack (talk) 04:05, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Horoizumi edit

Re:Akan Volcanic Complex edit

Hi Imars - I've removed {{volcanology-stub}} from Akan Volcanic Complex - that stub is primarily for use on articles to do with volcano science, not specific locations where there are volcanoes or groups of volcanoes (as explained in Category:Volcanology stubs). Unfortunately, a load of articles on volcanoes have recently been added to that category and WP:WSS is busy trying to clear it back to what should be in there. Grutness...wha? 23:06, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
