Article hijack

edit

this is totally unacceptable from two reasons. First, the article dealt with another issue, and you hijacked it to deal with your preferred subject. Do not do such changes without discussion. Do not do it at all. Second, you copy pasted the material from another article, which is also totally unacceptable. Please don't repeat it. --Muhandes (talk) 19:09, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

The fact that 90% of the article was copy pasted from Ladakh is totally unacceptable too. If you wish to contribute, research reliable sources and write it in your own words. --Muhandes (talk) 19:29, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Chorbat

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Chorbat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Speedy deletion nomination of Noor bakhshia

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Noor bakhshia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Sofia noorbakhshia

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Sofia noorbakhshia, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Noor bakhshia. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 09:39, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Removing Speedy at Sofia Noorbakhshia.

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Sofia Noorbakhshia.. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willingly to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 10:42, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sofia Noorbakhshia.

edit

The article Sofia Noorbakhshia. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced article about a sect. No evidence this sect is notable. The author of this article seems to be trying to promote the sect both here (multiple deleted copyvio articles on this subject) and on Facebook and blogs.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Iftikhar Ali Chorbati

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Iftikhar Ali Chorbati requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Leaving notes in articles

edit

Hi Ibaltistani, please do not leave comments about an article in the article, as you did at Hassanabad, Pakistan. If other editors wish to discuss the article, they should do so at Talk:Hassanabad, Pakistan, not directly with you. You do not own the article, even when you start it. Thanks, Sparthorse (talk) 14:31, 20 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Ghanche District. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Sparthorse (talk) 14:34, 20 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Problems?

Hi, I'm an admin here at Wikipedia. Looking at your user page, it looks like you're having difficulty getting the hang of things. I also reverted a number of your edits at Blatistan, because the information you added was excessive and, more imnportantly, unsourced. As a general rule, information in Wikipedia must be verified by reliable sources. If you would like some assistance, please let me know by leaving a message at my talk page and I'll try to help. Hi. When you recently edited Geography of Gilgit-Baltistan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dau (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hassanabad, Pakistan

edit

Please do not move that article again. Wikipedia does not name articles based on the name most familiar to local people. Rather, for locations, we have a naming guide, which you can read at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names). If there were only one city called Hassanabad, we'd just call the article Hassanabad; however, since there is more than one, we have to add a distinguishing term. For many countries, we do that simply by appending the country name; for some, we append only the state name. As far as I know, we never use both the state/district and country. For Pakistan, when disambiguation is necessary, just the country is sufficient. Continuing to move the article against our conventions is edit warring, and can result in your account being blocked, so please don't move the article again. Thank you. Qwyrxian (talk) 23:33, 19 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop editing the Hassanabad Chorbat, Pakistan article. It's a redirect to Hassanabad, Pakistan. Please ONLY edit the Hassanabad, Pakistan article. You've been told about this before. The Mark of the Beast (talk) 06:56, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Watermarked photos

edit

Your watermarked photos are very obvious promotional. Please stop re-adding them. If you really wish to contribute, upload a version without the watermark. Please also read WP:IG about image galleries, the images you are adding are mostly decorational and should not be added in the first place. I added a commons link to the article, and that points to all the images for interested readers. --Muhandes (talk) 06:45, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

You added this as a reference for Chorbat. Can you please explain what facts exactly a source from 1877 verifies? In what page exactly, and could you quote the text? I had a quick look at the book (yes, I have access to a copy) and I can't really find anything relevant, but I may have missed something. Sources are there to verify facts, not decorate the article.
