German inventors and discoverers edit

You seem to be adding links to a German inventors and discoverers page enthusiastically across Wikipedia. This sort of thing is usually done as a category, not as an article - perhaps you could look into this before continuing? Thanks. Djr32 (talk) 19:57, 30 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for the information, I will look into this right away! Hyperboreer 20:02, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Blocked for an indefinite period edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for a major copyright violation. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Nick-D (talk) 06:51, 21 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I have just deleted the Bombing of Germany during World War II article you created most of its content had been taken from this website. Given the extent of this copyright violation, I have decided to block your account for an indefinite period. This is not a permanent block, but will remain in place until you demonstrate to me or another reviewing administrator that you have read and understand Wikipedia's policy on copyright and will abide by it in the future - please see WP:COPYRIGHT. I hope that this block will only be needed for a few hours or days. On a different topic, I also note your reversions of reasonable requests for citations sought by another editor on the entirely spurious grounds that you were enforcing Wikipedia's "anti-troll policy": [1], [2] - no such policy exists, and if it did the IP editor's concerns would not fall under its scope. Nick-D (talk) 06:51, 21 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Well, Nick, I messed that one up ... I thought it was within reason to use THIS important information provided by another site but not included to the Wiki-article, it offered such a great overview - apparently I was wrong! --Hyperboreer 12:15, 21 July 2013 (UTC)

I am not sure why you deleted my message about the use of sock puppets which I placed in this section. However it was an administrative comment and as part of any unblock request you must read the policy Sock puppetry and state on this talk page that you will abide by it. -- PBS (talk) 23:38, 21 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Of course I will abide by it! --Hyperboreer 20:00, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
If you want this account unblocked you must follow the instructions in the block box at the start of the section. -- PBS (talk) 08:41, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'm also waiting to see a statement which makes it clear that you have read and understand Wikipedia's copyright policies, and will abide by them in the future. Nick-D (talk) 08:48, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Nick, I have read and understood them, and of course I will abide! --Hyperboreer 11:17, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

Hyperboreer, if you want this account unblocked you must follow the instructions in the block box at the start of the section: (NOTE it includes: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} -- PBS (talk) 12:56, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I have understood my mistake and will abide by the policies of Wikipedia! Hyperboreer 15:45, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

Decline reason:

As advised above, you need to:

  • CLEARLY explain WP:COPYRIGHT in your own words
  • explain how your edits were contrary
  • show your understanding of the potential legal issues you caused for Wikipedia
  • explain how you'll move forward in the future

All this must be done before an unblock can be granted (✉→BWilkins←✎) 10:36, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Proposed deletion of Declarations of War during World War II edit

The article Declarations of War during World War II has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Incomplete, even major events lackes, Soviet Union vs Poland 17th September 1939, Denmark, Yugoslavia, Belgium and other nations forgotten. Exile governments mentioned, but not Vichy France, Japan vs USA at Pearl Harbour forgotten. The List of all war outbreaks during World War II is NPOV, brief, complete, uses a safe source. And is a better complement to the main article World War II. (Note that the foregoing is the original nominator's reasoning, however, original PROD was not timestamped, so I reprodded.)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
