Tropical Depression 18W

edit

Hi! I saw your new disambiguation page and I moved it to Tropical Depression 18W so that when people search for just "Tropical Depression 18W" they go straight to the article you created. I also added Tropical Depression 18W (2010) to the list. Thank you for creating the disambiguation page as it definitely will help people searching for these tropical depressions. --Odie5533 (talk) 11:21, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hey, just to let you know, I redirected the article you made. There simply wasn't enough content in the article to justify keeping it. If you want to work on an article, be sure to establish that the storm was actually notable, whether by including info on the storm killing people, or causing a lot of damage. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 04:18, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Moving user pages

edit

Please don't move user pages and user talk pages from the user space to the Wikipedia space. I have corrected this. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:09, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Rest in peace fuck all the gays!Hurricane trackers (talk) 13:23, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

In case you do resume editing, I suggest you maintain a civil tone, and that when you make an article, you add enough content that indicates notability (such as including if the storm caused actual damage, deaths, widespread impact). --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 15:50, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

And there was a discussion about redirecting your article. The article didn't have anything new than what was already in the season article, so that's another major problem. I also don't technically have to ask permission, since on Wikipedia, you don't own articles that you write - see WP:OWN. Notice, at the top of the edit screen, it says "Work submitted to Wikipedia can be edited, used and redistributed by other people at will." --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 15:55, 19 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
