My Page Talk

Sorry! edit

Darn, that was a mistake. I thought I undid that edit...

What makes it worse is that I recently got a warn from TestEditBot for reverting your reversion. No kidding! :)

August 2008 edit

If you are creating pages like that, make sure you put USER: in front of your user name. Thank you, Ctjf83Talk 16:47, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Would you like assistance with that? Ctjf83Talk 16:50, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

NoHappyCat12 (talk) 16:59, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well I did it before you responded...it needs to say USER: at the beginning or will be deleted. Ctjf83Talk 17:01, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's OK my page already got deleted and recreated with the new title :<

Let me help you out....Warnings, like the one to Riansta, need to go on talk pages, not user pages. Also, please sign ever talk page post by typing ~~~~ Ctjf83Talk 17:33, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

You RfA edit

Hi HappyCat, I was just wondering if you wanted you Request for adminship to be open for users to comment? Tiptoety talk 20:28, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I do Thanks for reminding me! HappyCat12 (talk) 21:29, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Okay, here are my concerns: Most candidates should have at least 6 months experience (though that is not a set in stone rule) and at this time I personally think that your RfA would be closed per WP:NOTNOW. If you still want to go up for an RfA, I will not stop you and will even be happy to transclude it for you, but I urge you to take my comments to heart. Cheers, Tiptoety talk 21:35, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I guess i'll wait, thanks for the comments HappyCat12 (talk) 21:41, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Great, I would just hate to see you fail your RfA. Cheers, Tiptoety talk 21:44, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I closed the RfA per WP:NOTNOW you might want to take a look at the communities expectations, in the mean time, I wish you the best of luck and hope you enjoy your time here at WP.---Balloonman PoppaBalloon 22:57, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of HappyCat12/UBX edit

A tag has been placed on HappyCat12/UBX, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Λuα (Operibus anteire) 13:58, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

the URL I can't repeat edit

I think you made a mistake just now by reverting one of my edits. I was cleaning up a goatse vandal and you accidentally added it back. --Bachrach44 (talk) 16:00, 18 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

sorry I did that.

speedy edit

When an article like List of Hannah Montana songs is vandalized, request page protection at WP:RPP, don't list it for deletion. I've protected it for now. DGG (talk) 03:02, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your RfA edit

I am sorry, but I have closed your Request for adminship prematurely. Simply put, you only have 133 edits on Wikipedia; while your edit count isn't the only determining factor, and numerous people have their own personal standards by which they judge RfA candidates, this particular RfA was all but assured of not passing.

I am sorry about this, and I hope you don't take it personally. If you continue to contribute to the project in a positive fashion, I am confident that you would be able to submit a successful RfA in the future. You may wish to consider applying for an evaluation by other Wikipedia editors for feedback on how to obtain the necessary experience. Once you are ready to request adminship again, there is a great admin coaching program available, as well as a guide to requests for adminship.

If you have any other questions about becoming an administrator, please don't hesitate to ask me. Good luck! Enigmamsg 00:21, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Happy Cat, re your RFA, edits like this tell me you are on the right track; but you've got a way to go - admins need to communicate well and pick up on policies, so they can administer them. When you revert a vandal you also need to pick a template from WP:warn and warn them WereSpielChequers 00:29, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sign. edit

Hey mate,

Well, it's off the top of my head, but have you tried checking the box Raw signature in your preferences?

If that was not the problem, please get back to me so that I can give this a deeper look.

Cheers mate!

RC Patrol-related Proposals in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey edit

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
