Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Hi Jamie, I am not spamming links. I am simply linking to the digital copy of Rachel Carson's book UNDER THE SEA WIND. I see other external links (especially to pieces of journalism) which have not been taken down. Thanks for any insight. HLKidd (talk) 15:38, 22 May 2018 (UTC)

I'm simply trying to add a link to the ebook of UNDER THE SEA WIND, which is published exclusively in e by the company Open Road Media. HLKidd (talk) 15:51, 22 May 2018 (UTC)

That is precisely what you were blocked for; spamming a link to what I presume to be your company's website where interested persons can purchase the ebook from various retailers. That's spamming and promotional editing, both of which are not permitted. Before an unblock can be considered, you will need to read that link as well as WP:COI and WP:PAID, as well as tell us what you intend to edit about since you will not be permitted to continue to spam links.
