April 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Greed  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 15:51, 2 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to. Opencooper (talk) 13:29, 10 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Father (Fullmetal Alchemist) edit

You said you would provide reception but you haven't yet. I have moved the article to the draft space until notability can be established using reliable sources. Opencooper (talk) 13:35, 10 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

April 2016 edit

Greetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Roy Mustang, contributed colours that may cause accessibility problems for users with certain types of visual disabilities. We aim to use colours that meet the WCAG AAA standard for accessibility. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines on this subject, which can be found at WP:COLOR; this page provides further information about contributing AAA-compliant colours to this encyclopedia. For information specific to templates used in articles about television, please also see Template talk:Infobox television season/Archive 3. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Orphaned non-free image File:Two fullmetal Alchemist characters.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Two fullmetal Alchemist characters.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:56, 11 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Preview page with this template edit

Use the "Preview page with this template" and you don't have to save a template every time you want to see how it looks like in an article. --Pxos (talk) 14:38, 12 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Template format edit

Please do not change template format as you did in Template:Tanakh without considering format errors or ignoring consistency with articles associated with the template. Some template colors do have meaning to a subject affiliated with the template. If your here on Wikipedia to simply play around/vandalize, you can be blocked from editing. If you're trying to get a feel on how Wikipedia works, I recommend using your "sandbox" on the top right of your screen. And for future reference, I highly recommend you read Wikipedia:List of policies. Happy editing & Cheers! — JudeccaXIII (talk) 20:03, 12 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

i'm actually not here just to play around or vandalize. While I was aware that the colors may have meaning, I was not aware of whatever meaning the colors of Template:Tanakh had. I apologize for this. GreenessItself (talk) 00:47, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
You can obviously tell that Wikipedia isn't really diverse in colors. The simple white, pale blue, black etc. colors are what make Wikipedia. Some other colors like green, yellow, purple, pink etc. are usually used in infoboxes. The simple pale blue used in most of the templates are the preferred just because it simply looks better and correlates with the tone of Wikipedia. — JudeccaXIII (talk) 04:24, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Actually I already knew all of that. I just thought it would be better for template colors to have justifications other than simply looking best (that's what I meant by "meaning"), and that's why I changed the colors of Template:Tanakh GreenessItself (talk) 05:15, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Adam and Eve edit

You're new so not surprisingly you don't know our policies and guidelines. Please read WP:NOR and WP:VERIFY for starters and my edit summary and then discuss changes you want on the talk page. I see you were already warned about removing maintenance templates. Doug Weller as talk 16:06, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please see my warning placed in error at the top of your page. Doug Weller

Already knew that. Also, I feel that your warning is a little more threatening than it ought to be. GreenessItself (talk) 18:03, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
And yet it seems to have had no effect. You should have stopped reverting and d started discussing to get agreement. I really wish you had so I didn't need to warn you, which I only did when you ignored me. 19:57, 13 April 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doug Weller (talkcontribs)

Greenness, you need to explain your edits and they need to be consistent with cited sources. I perceive that many of your edits are changing the sense of an article that has, already, been pretty well worked over, cited, etc. So you will need to explain and source changes of meaning. Thank you. Isambard Kingdom (talk) 13:48, 15 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

BC vs BCE edit

I would prefer BCE, but we have guidelines we need to follow and they require discussion. See WP:ERA. Doug Weller talk 20:03, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Seven deadly sins edit

Greenness, please add edit summaries to your edits. This is important, as it enables easy understanding of what you are doing. I've asked that you do this for the Adam and Eve article as well. Still, you don't respond, and I find this concerning. Isambard Kingdom (talk) 13:56, 16 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Alias? edit

Are you user:Gonzales John? Let me know, Isambard Kingdom (talk) 11:00, 17 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

No, I'm not that user.GreenessItself (talk) 11:53, 17 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
After looking at that person's page, it seems that you thought that because he/she also supports recycling. GreenessItself (talk) 13:04, 17 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Alphonse Elric edit

I thought about one image to Alphonse Elric in his human form since that is discussed in his own article even by Arakawa. Do you think this will help? Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 14:04, 17 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it sure will- by a lot. I thank you for that. GreenessItself (talk) 14:45, 17 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
In fact I think that it's probably the most suitable image to use.GreenessItself (talk) 14:56, 17 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Why was I blocked? I sourced my edits and stopped reverting editions.

Given the fact that you are a confirmed sock of User:Gonzales John, that's why you are blocked. 2600:1:B144:D522:9C20:E9FA:1D73:E751 (talk) 02:30, 30 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open! edit

Hello, GreenessItself. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
