Thank you for joining Wikipedia and trying to help improve articles such as Iowa State University. I've seen that you like to reference in-Wiki articles by using [http://en.wikipedia.org/...], though the formatting you're looking for is merely just [[Name of article]], i.e. [[Iowa State University]] turns into Iowa State University. Check out some of the links above to see how you can contribute further and for some more tips on wiki-formatting! Jason Patton (talk) 11:12, 9 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Gpidelt, I must request that you stop trying to insert Delta tau delta gamma pi into every article you see fit. The article needs references to show its notability, and you may become blocked soon unless you start using some of the format and writing guides listed above when including in-Wiki links. Delta tau delta gamma pi

edit

I suspect that it may still be marked for deletion, but I have tried to bring the article up to standards. I did have to cut many "value-like" statements placed throughout the article, though. The mission statement should take care of the chapter's values. Please check my work to make sure it is factual with what you know about your frat! Jason Patton (talk) 11:54, 9 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey, no problem! It took me a long time to figure out what works and what doesn't and what is expected of articles. I'm always willing to help pass on that knowledge on to fellow Cyclones! Jason Patton (talk) 12:27, 9 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, see Wikipedia's guidelines on notability. What is likely the claim is that ISU's chapter is not notable by itself, although the national organization itself is. You're going to have to use the guidelines I linked to and show how this specific chapter meets them and should be included on Wikipedia as a separate entry. Hope that helps!
