Banbury wards edit

Yes i will fill aswell, as i was sayingt o NF , we should move all banbury articles to banbury extension articles for example there title should be

Easington, Banbury rather than just Easington incase it confuses people if you do that ill change all the banbury links to them

never mind ill do the extensions you change the links

Grimsbury, Banbury on the main Banbury page if you dont mind and also Hardwick, Banbury

will be back soon noface1

Ive done all the warding (look at the template) ill be off in 7 minutes for simpsons and maybe dinner but ill be back at 6:30 look at the banbury discussion page, they rated it as a 'start' article, weve got to get it upto B standard i think it should be already but nevermind, ill begin doing more wards artciles soon, i think we should add a recreation sub-section into each wards article, also look how the southampton team has organised thier wards section :) see ya soon Thatperson

are you still on ? if so we should continue with the local regions.

what to get BANBURY to a b grade i thought it would already be there !?! i just feel that having them in a list is clearer and more informative so thats why i did it!

ok will, do thtaperson's gone for today hasn't he. yes i've found the same problem.

new subject edit

im on until 10 how long you on for, my template is almost complete, ill add coledge fields now

Noface1.

Hello,

Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.

Thanks! --Vox Causa 22:20, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the advice. Geniussansom

Speedy nomination for Nextar gps edit

Hi! I saw that you tagged Nextar gps with the generic {{db}} template. I just wanted to let you know that I changed it to a more specific template. I also saw that you wanted to change it to "db-advertising" which doesn't exist. The proper shortcut for blatant adverts is {{db-spam}}, for your reference. Anyway, keep up the good work ^_^ —Keakealani 20:50, 21 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the advice. I had looked for an advertising template but couldn't find one. I will use this one in future. Geniussansom

Merry Christmas! edit

found this so Merry christmas -

In Him was life, and that life was the Light of men. John 1:4 KJV

Dear Geniussansom,
Love came to a stable on that very special night to bring us out of darkness into His glorious light. May Jesus touch your life with gladness and warm your heart with love as we celebrate His birth. I hope you have a Blessed Christmas, User:Noface1 06:12, 23 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Datakit edit

When you tag stub articles like Datakit, please try to find the best specific stub tag on the page WP:STUBS. This saves other editors work in categorizing the page, and makes it easier for editors with experise in the subject to find pages that need work. Thanks, — Swpb talk contribs 21:41, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I usually try to categorise the stubs but I was unsure of what template to use, and could not remember the page with the templates on.

Banbury United F.C. edit

Someone has put a Speedy Deelete tag on your Banbury United F.C. article. I put a hang-on tag on it, but would be useful if you could add to the debate on its talk page. Best Regards, - Trident13 16:03, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the message concerning the possible deletion of the Banbury United article. I agree that the article is worthy and that it is poorly written. I plan to re-write much of it in the next few dates. You may have noticed that JJGD who put it up for deletion, as put many articles up for deletion recently. He is a friend of mine and I believe that this may be an attempt to reduce my edit count. I will discuss this with JJGD tonight. --geniussansom 17:13, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hey, no problem! I think the subject is worthy of an article under the required criteria, and you clearly have put a lot of effort into it - its more of a" work in progress" than a poorly written article. Good Luck! Rgds, - Trident13 17:16, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm about 400 edits in front of you why would I try and bring your edit count down? I was reading the notability standards for football and the Banbury united article meets very few of them, for example the average attendance for a team should be around 1000, but under the player records headline near the bottom of the page it states that the average league attendance is 415.

Noface1 gives you a "Thumbs Up" personal user award for your contributions to Banbury United, the southern league article and Northampton Saints.

good on you mate !

experienced the same problem and thought the same thing lol.

your msgbox didnt work for some reason, speedcubing in the Uk has been deleted, wasnt that silly for the banbury united deletion tag, anyway i suppsoe i better go and get a few more mainspace edits before my rfa (those speedcubing edits being deleted didnt help :( ) Thatperson 20:50, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

i think we should work on banburyshire next (where would you define the boundary?) im on msn if you wanna catch me

Football squad templates edit

Hi,

Noticed that you added a squad box to Mark Ovendale. Just in case you don't know (apologies if you do), you can write a template for the squad and then just place the template on each players page, rather than having to paste the whole list everytime. See Category:English_football_squad_templates for examples. Hope this is useful WikiGull 20:11, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just noticed that you have created the template. You just need to put the template short-cut on each page, not the template text. See what I've done to Darren Garner for an example. Good work though! WikiGull 20:15, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Non-League footballers category edit

Hi, I've proposed the category you created for deletion. In my view if contributes nothing useful to wikipedia - there are plenty of categories for players (by nationality, clubs played for etc) which are much more useful. Furthermore, the category is unclear as to whether you mean current non-league players or just any player who happens to have ever played non-league football in his life (which will be a lot!). Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New deal for page patrollers edit

Hi Geniussansom,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
