Sorry for delay

Hi Geevee, I edit lots of film articles and most usually don't keep a watch on them. Sorry for letting you wait. I answered in the film article. By the way, if a 2 column list is too wide apart (which happens if the list items are short) you can try a 3 column one with the 3rd column just emply (edit to see):

• Items 1-20

• Items 21-end

This brings the 2 used columns closer. However, if there are any images used in the same section, don't use a 3rd column. For any further questions, please post in my talk page. Enjoy your edits. Hoverfish 12:02, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

It looks like I was wrong about using a 2 column list with an image. Part of the text was covered by the image. I turned it to 3 columns now and also replaced the subheaders with bold text so we don't have the "edit" displaying each time. I hope you like it so. Hoverfish 14:54, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Точно так же как и те что загружены здесь. Впечатываешь название - и фото отобразится. Только туда можно загружать только свои собственные фото, а не fairuse (обложки дисков, например). --Ghirla ^-трёп- 16:43, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Request

Thanks for uploading nice pictures of the arch and the mosque. There are actually some fairuse pictures for which I can't find free replacements. These include Image:Molva.jpg and Image:Simon-anne.jpg. If I don't find free images of these objects, these pictures will be deleted soon. I have a photo of Saints Simon and Anne Church, but it is not very good quality. But it will be enough to replace copyvio image. Look: Image:Simon and Anne Church.jpg. Sorry, but I have no picture of Molvinsky Column, I have been to Catherinhof only once. I haven't see it and I am a little bit confused to see some izba on background :) I didn't think there are village houses in Catherinhof. It's OK. By the way, please remember that images in Commons are categorized. If you want me and other editors to find this particular image among 1,000,000 pictures in Commons, you should categorize it as part of Category:Churches of Russia by typing Category:Churches of Russia below the image. Well done. But it wasn't so much that I doubted there were 60 - it's just that stub-sorting guidelines say that there should be 60 before a category is made. You did not provide any fair use rationale, which goes beyond just sticking the {{albumcover}} template on the image. At the bottom of the template you'll see it says: "To the uploader: please add a detailed fair use rationale for each use, as described on Wikipedia:Image description page, as well as the source of the work and copyright information." As you can see, now in addition to adding the correct template to a fair use image, you must provide more detailed fair use rationale. Yes. Along with the rational below the section heading. Luckily for you, the example page gives a pretty good example of how to provide fair use rationale for album covers. Yes, I can. There is context of Udelnaya railway station. Railway station, not metro. Therefore, it is no relation to Saint Petersburg Metro article.

The reader, who would follow that link would wish to know something about Udelnaya railway station (that's why he would click), wouldn't find any relevant information in the article about Saint Petersburg Metro, that's why that link was useless and unnecessary. It will be more useful to put link to non-existent article about Udelnaya railway station, won't it?

Shine on You crazy Diamond

I'm not doubting you about the invalidity of my edit as such, but am curious nonetheless as to why those letters should not be put in lower-case. Would my version be incorrect, or is there some wiki policy that prevents me from doing that?--Boris Allen 14:07, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

This title, as any another title of song, book, album, movie, etc. should be written in title case, without exceptions. I can't give you exact quotation from Wikipedia guideline (something about it is in WP:MOSCL), but it could be assumed from large amount of articles.

You can read about the rules of title case there (they are easy to understand and remember): [1]

You put "on" and "crazy" words into lower-case just to emphasize the relation of title to Syd Barrett, but it is really needed. This relation is mentioned in the article, and it is quite enough. Geevee (talk) 17:29, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
