September 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Creffett. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Leviticus 18, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. creffett (talk) 00:11, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. creffett (talk) 00:18, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi, please use reliable sources. www.gaychristian101.com is not a reliable source. its a self-publishing source.--SharabSalam (talk) 00:12, 20 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Grammar edit

There is no "bias message"--consider "biased message". Thank you. Drmies (talk) 01:15, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

The biased message is "Every place it is mentioned it is referred to in a negative light. The teaching from the Scriptures are clearly against homosexual behavior of any kind." It is someone's interpretation and opinion that "the teaching from the Scriptures are clearly against homosexual behavior of any kind." In my opinion and interpretation the scriptures doesn't prohibit homosexuality. But I do not display my opinion as fact on Wikipedia. 01:20, User:GayOrdinaryChristian 19 September 2019 (UTC)

  • Sorry, but blah blah blah. "Bias message" is improper English. I'm glad you said "biased message" in your response. Drmies (talk) 00:14, 20 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

References edit

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
  2. Then click on "templates",
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and fill in the details beside a magnifying glass followed by clicking said button,
  4. If the article is available in Pubmed Central, you have to add the pmc parameter manually -- click on "show additional fields" in the template and you will see the "pmc" field. Please add just the number and don't include "PMC".

We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 01:05, 22 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Doc James can I use this source? is this high quality? If so, why? Thank you https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28353648 01:20, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

MDPI edit

Has been listed as a predatory publisher and thus not a suitable source either. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:38, 23 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

This source is too old. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2571445
The sources also do not appear to mention UTIs? Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:40, 23 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Drive-by tagging and WP:OR edit

When you add maintenance templates to an article, as you did at Salvation in Christianity diff diff, Ethics in the Bible diff, and Women in the Bible diff, please provide a rationale at the talk. And this, at The Bible and slavery, adding a tag that more secondary citations are needed diff, and then next interpreting a primary source, which is WP:OR, is not very constructive either. I'm assuming it's not the leads you're thinking of, see WP:LEADCITE? Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:50, 24 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Gråbergs Gråa Sång: I don't know; it's just not clear to me why those tags were added. No rationale was provided. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 18:19, 24 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for the indent, Joshua Jonathan, question was for GOC, based on edits like [1]. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 19:06, 24 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
