Could you please provide a link to the study of nccam which contradicts fda advisory. I would like to read it to see how it contradicts.Ryanspir (talk) 19:11, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

No, I didn't say I had one. - Floydian τ ¢ 05:43, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Simtropolis Wiki

Hey Floydian, I wanted to let you know that Simtropolis is making a wiki for SimCity 2013 (and perhaps all of SimCity). If you're interesting in contributing give me a shout! Your expertise would really be useful! Link: [1] Haljackey (talk) 00:14, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

Life's been pretty busy as of late, but if I happen to find some free time to get back into Simcity again I'll definitely hit you up on that offer :) - Floydian τ ¢ 15:28, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
Absolutely no problem! Let me know your ST username (is it Floydian?) and I'll add you to a private discussion and show you what we have set up so far. I also got a chance to play SC13 beta during the weekend, they only let you play for an hour so it's really not enough time for me to form a opinion about it. I might get into a closed VIP beta that's unrestricted... Only open to a select few, mostly press. Haljackey (talk) 16:09, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Jane Street

In retrospect, I agree that the merge-and-redirect was the best solution. I only restored the previous version because the page had been converted into an ill-thought disambiguation page, creating a large number of disambig links. Cheers! bd2412 T 01:32, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

No problemo. There are a few users who think that every road in Toronto needs an individual article with a table of "landmarks" (ie schools, churches and malls) and a list of bus routes that use the road. I'm more of the mind that a single article covering all the major roads and the history behind the name and creation of the road. The TTC website has a good coverage of bus routes. Not sure how Jane Street didn't get copied over however. If you spot any others in a similar situation feel free to merge them as that was the general consensus save one, possibly two users. Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway

I don't know if this File:Naming Herb Gray Parkway.jpg is of any use. I may have put it in the wrong category, but I am relying on you - the "highwayman". Secondarywaltz (talk) 17:07, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

Notice of Dispute resolution discussion

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute in which you may have been involved. Content disputes can hold up article development, therefore we are requesting your participation to help find a resolution. The thread is "Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Road junction lists".

Guide for participants

If you wish to open a DR/N filing, click the "Request dispute resolution" button below this guide or go to Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard/request for an easy to follow, step by step request form.

What this noticeboard is:
  • It is an early step to resolve content disputes after talk page discussions have stalled. If it's something we can't help you with, or is too complex to resolve here, our volunteers will point you in the right direction.
What this noticeboard is not:
  • It is not a place to deal with the behavior of other editors. We deal with disputes about article content, not disputes about user conduct.
  • It is not a place to discuss disputes that are already under discussion at other dispute resolution forums.
  • It is not a substitute for the talk pages: the dispute must have been discussed extensively on a talk page (not just through edit summaries) before resorting to DRN.
  • It is not a court with judges or arbitrators that issue binding decisions: we focus on resolving disputes through consensus, compromise, and explanation of policy.
Things to remember:
  • Discussions should be civil, calm, concise, neutral, and objective. Comment only about the article's content, not the other editors. Participants who go off-topic or become uncivil may be asked to leave the discussion.
  • Let the other editors know about the discussion by posting {{subst:drn-notice}} on their user talk page.
  • Sign and date your posts with four tildes "~~~~".
  • If you ever need any help, ask one of our volunteers, who will help you as best as they can. You may also wish to read through the FAQ page located here and on the DR/N talkpage.

Please take a moment to review the simple guide and join the discussion. Thank you! EarwigBot operator / talk 08:01, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

New International Trade Crossing.

When the State Department approved the project using the "New International Trade Crossing" name last week, that became the official name of the project. Just look at the proof youself at [2] So let's reopen the discussion. I started a new poll in the talk page showing proof positive using Google News at NITC should be the official name of this article and, again, it is the OFFICIAL name of the project. WP:COMMONNAME states that the official name is not always the name we should use as the article title. For example, in Toronto we have a festival each year known as the "Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival", a name adopted several years ago after a trademark dispute over its common public name, "Caribana", which is the title that the article is under despite the official name change. - Floydian τ ¢ 18:57, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
