Wayback Machine

edit

Your edit to Wayback Machine has been reverted as nonconstructive. The webpage status is not a minute by minute status but long term status. -- GreenC 14:54, 19 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Wayback Machine is down right now but that happens occasionally for short periods of time due to technical problems. Wikipedia does not track short outages only long term status changes. -- GreenC 15:02, 19 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Sonic's Edusoft

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sonic's Edusoft, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — InsertCleverPhraseHere (or here) 00:47, 26 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Non-free image use

edit

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically Berkeley Software Distribution, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:17, 30 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

You need to stop inappropriately added non-free files to articles. If you have questions about non-free content use, please ask them at WP:MCQ or WT:NFCC. Each use of a non-free file needs to satisfy all ten non-free content criteria listed in WP:NFCCP, and those that do not will be removed. Moreover, removing non-fre euse rationales from file pages may lead to a the file bening deleted per WP:F6, so you need to be careful when doing so.
Once again, if you want to use a particular file in a particular way and you are not sure if doing so complies with relevant Wikipedia policies/guidelines, please as for assistance. Continuing to do what you've been doing is eventually going to be seen as disruptive and a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policy and will lead to an administrator being asked ot intervene. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:26, 31 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Acer Chromebook R11

edit

The article Acer Chromebook R11 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No text and no references. Does not explain how it meets product notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
