Hello Filipinoman9103, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Ang Probinsyano (season 3) have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TheDragonFire (talk) 14:58, 15 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Princess Punzalan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Filipino (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Proposed deletion of Pangako Sa 'Yo (season 1)

edit

The article Pangako Sa 'Yo (season 1) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Re: Ang Probinsyano

edit

Good day Filipinoman9103, I'm sorry I couldn't reply to your previous message as I was busy, but I did try to work on the problem you presented to me. The best I could do was to restore the wikilinks in the Wildflower episodes pages.

Which brings me to the point I want to raise here. While I know we have the same goal, that is, to make Ang Probinsyano and its related pages better, the last edits you've made are to be honest, are unwelcome. Chiefly, you want to stop tallying the episode numbers while the show is running, which would make it hard to keep track of the episodes already aired. That considering the List of Ang Probinsyano episodes pages was intended to be updated on a weekly basis. Then, right now I'm fixing the edits you made because by changing the headers in the episodes pages, you unlinked the wikilinks. That is, by clicking on the Season number, I am not automatically redirected to the list of episodes in that season. Leave the page as it is, we cannot fix what is not broken in the first place.

Best regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 02:29, 5 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Re: Ang Probinsyano

edit

Good day Filipinoman9103!

I am writing on your wall again regarding Ang Probinsyano and its related pages. As you may notice, there are some edits you've made that I left intact and there are some that I reverted. Please be circumspect in your editing, examine first if there is a need to edit some items in Ang Probinsyano and its related pages. The edits you made that I reverted were unnecessary edits you made. For example, in the Series Overview of Ang Probinsyano, you transposed the table from the episodes page in there for no discernible reason. Also, you are not improving the heading by changing them into this Book 1: Season 1, Book 1: Season 2. The headings being

Book 1

edit

Season 1

edit

Season 2

edit

Is already fine on its own. If you have an edit in mind maybe we should discuss it first. Its best we do not disrupt the continutity of the pages. Your zeal in editing the pages are welcome, but again, there are some edits that are unecessary. Gardo Versace (talk) 03:11, 9 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Re: Ang Probinsyano Cast and Characters

edit

Good day Filipinoman9103!

I have some things to clarify with you with regard to casts and characters. For starters, the FORMER Casts refers to members of the cast that have already left the show. They do not refer to cast members who were previously credited as part of the main or supporting cast but have not been credited as such anymore. Take for example Ronwaldo Martin and Sancho de las Alas. Both were credited as part of the main cast and supporting cast respectively, but have been moved to guest stars status by Season 5. Gardo Versace (talk) 16:17, 9 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Re: Ang Probinsyano cast and characters

edit

Good day Filipinoman9103!

I am again changing the entry on Bela Padilla's character, Carmen M. Guzman, as again the aim is to simplify the content. Her marriage to both Ador and Joaquin would reflect on the series overview anyway, and the same will also be reflected in the individual bios in the characters page.

Again, if you want to change something about the page, at least discuss the matter bwfore you go gung ho editing it. There are some entries that is not broken and does not need editing at all. Gardo Versace (talk) 16:40, 14 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Re: Marco and Catherine Cabrera

edit

Good day Filipinoman9103!

I removed an entry on your edits to Ang Probinsyano and List of Ang Probinsyano characters. While Catherine's cousin Menchu is a Versoza, it does not necessarily mean that Catherine's maiden last name is also Versoza. Menchu could possibly be a cousin from the paternal line through Catherine's father, which would mean that Versoza is not her maiden name or it could also be that Menchu is her cousin in the maternal line, which also means the same thing. So unless it is stated, it is a mere conjecture. Wikipedia deals with facts established, not mere conjectures.

Warmest regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 06:04, 23 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Re: Ang Probinsyano cast

edit

Good day Filipinoman9103!

I am leaving this message to inform you that I have reverted your edit on the character of Don Emilio Syquia. While it is true that he has not appeared in the show since the episode Cardo vs. Emilio, he is nonetheless credited as part of the cast. When I originally wrote the entry for Former Cast list, the list was limited only to cast members who are not anymore credited as part of the cast because their characters were permanently written out.

The fact that Don Emilio's supposed death is ambigious and the fact that he is still credited shouls clue you in on the fact that he is still a current cast member. Also, if that is not enough for you, this article right here[1] proves it

Lastly, the edit is disruptive. An edit is disruptive when a certain page could not have a definite version because of unsabstantial edits. Edits in the character list should be reserved for substantial changes, i.e. actual departure of the members of the cast, not presumptive departures. Wikipedia sancyions members who does disruptive edits by suspending such account, or in the worse case scenario, blocking the account altogether. I hope we are clear on this matter.

Also, if you can revert the edits you made to Ang Probinsyano (season 3), it will be greatly appreciated. The cast in said page were ordered according to their order of billing in the show's credits. The edit you made managed to scramble the order of the cast and is contrary to how they are credited.

Warmest regards. Gardo Versace (talk) 21:03, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Mula sa Puso (film) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Mula sa Puso (film), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Good day Filipinoman9103. I dropped by your page to ask for help in creating a new page for the series. The series entered into its 6th Season beginning with the September 24 episode as evidenced by its celebration of its third year the prior Sunday and the addition of new opening sequences. Logically it is likewise marked by the change of heart of President Hidalgo, thus concluding Season 5 and beginning Season 6. I'll be providing the content on the same once you create the page. Filipinoman9103, you have been pointed to WP:TVCAST and its "The cast listing should not contain an episode count, e.g. (6 episodes) or (episodes 1–6), to indicate the number of episodes in which the actor or character appeared. If an actor misses an episode due to a real-world occurrence, such as an injury that prevents them from appearing, this info can be noted in the character's description or "Production" section with a reliable source." multiple times now, and have ignored it. If you keep this up, you are very likely to be reported to WP:ANEW and blocked.

Hi I’m Pipamidalton! You removed the characters’ descriptions in today’s edits at https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/880212806

You had stated that character descriptions are against Wikipedia guidelines. Which guideline specifically are you referring to? Several edits and efforts were exerted by different editors on the character descriptions and you removed it without a real explanation in the edit summary. I myself spent a lot of time on editing these entries, made several grammar corrections and sentence constructions by several editors. Wikipedia encourages a community of editors to participate in good faith edits. Editors like you and me are here to fix errors in grammars or awkwardly phrased sentences, and delete errors and edits that are against the Wikipedia guidelines. I have not seen the guidelines you refer to specifically, and I do know Wikipedia guidelines for character descriptions are allowed. What isn’t allowed are labeling. Specifically, editors should refrain from labeling, I.e. - protagonist, antagonist, etc. See WP:PROTAGONIST

The guidelines state that If roles are described outside of the plot summary, editors are to keep such descriptions concise. Interpretations in the form of labels (e.g. protagonist, antagonist, villain, main character) should be avoided. Please advise the specific guidelines you refer to, otherwise, I feel we should revert your edits, and bring back previous edits, since much work had been done by other editors. If you wish to discuss, message me in my Talk page. ThanksPipamidalton (talk) 00:46, 27 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Susan Africa

edit

The article Susan Africa has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
