Hello Fidonewt. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Fidonewt. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Fidonewt|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 09:19, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Joshua-Fletcher123.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Joshua-Fletcher123.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://sunrisenews.co/joshua-fletchers-5-simple-tips-to-coping-with-stress-management/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MER-C 12:15, 29 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello! I think that my account was blocked because of my sandbox post, but I didn't receive not even a penny for it. I know that Jamils page was deleted, but I never posted anything about him before. It was not a spam or anything, and I am really sorry for trying to create it. I will immediately delete it and hope that it can get me back. I have an anxiety disorder and Wikipedia was the thing that made me calm, so just give me a chance, please. It was just a matter of interest - if I am able to create something that was deleted. I hope you understand me and allow me to continue wy contribution to wiki. Fidonewt (talk) 13:36, 29 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This unblock request is almost incoherent. What is your exact relationship to the subjects you've written about? Remember, you claim to have been able to secure the release of File:Joshua-fletcher-panic-room.jpg to the public domain, so it's not plausible that you have no relationship with Draft:Joshua Fletcher. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Joshua is an author whose book helped me in a difficult time. I asked for a photo of him from him directly. Without getting paid or something like this. So I was blocked, because I used a photo that was provided to me from author? I can provide proves of asking mr. Fletcher for photos. I didn't want to advertise anything. If there's still any kind of advertisement on Draft:Joshua Fletcher - please show it to me and I will correct/delete it. Wikipedia was the only thing that calmed me this month. I've read tons of Wiki How's and thought that Draft:Joshua Fletcher was created correctly. If Draft:Joshua Fletcher doen not meet the requirements of notability - I will change it. You can check my IP adress and see that there's no other accounts with my IP, I am not a puppet or something. I just tried to create a page about an author, and I am going to create some pages about Meekhan (fantasy book). Show me where my mistakes are and please let me continue. If Draft:Joshua Fletcher is incorrect - I will change it or delete it. As you see, this page is my first one, and I don't really want it to be deleted, but if it is necessary - I will do it.Fidonewt (talk) 00:24, 2 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. Yamla (talk) 14:18, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Joshua-fletcher-panic-room.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Joshua-fletcher-panic-room.jpg, which you've attributed to Asset Azhiyev. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 12:07, 2 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
