Capitalization and sources edit

Please read the Wikipedia Manual of Style, which discusses how words are to be capitalized in headings and in text, among many other details. Your recent edit to the article Atlantic City, New Jersey capitalized several words that are not proper nouns. Even if "Fire Station Locations and Apparatus" were needed as a heading, it should be "Fire station locations and apparatus", as none of the words are proper nouns. In "The city of Atlantic City is protected by the full-time, paid firefighters of the Atlantic City Fire Department (ACFD), which operates out of 6 Fire Stations, located throughout the city, under the command of Chief Dennis J. Brooks. The ACFD also operates and maintains a fire apparatus fleet of 7 Engine Companies, 3 Ladder Companies, 1 Rescue Company, 1 Haz-Mat. Unit, 1 Air Cascade Unit, and numerous other special, support, and reserve units." you went out of your way to capitalize words unnecessarily and to change numbers below 10 from digits to words in contradiction to the Manual of Style; "Atlantic City Fire Department" is a proper noun that should have all four words capitalized but "Fire Stations" should not be capitalized. Furthermore, all material added to Wikipedia requires reliable and verifiable sources, and none have been provided. The material you add is useful, but complying with editing rules and policies will make your editing more productive. Please feel free to contact me on my talk page with any questions on how to format or source material in articles. Alansohn (talk) 17:11, 1 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
