You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Farhad shahnawaz has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 16:21, 20 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Autobiography edit

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at ‎Farhad shahnawaz. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Inappropriate use of user page edit

Hi there,

I notice that your user page appears to contain article-style content, rather than the more typical user-page style. (It's unclear if this is the same material that was in the deleted Farhad Shahnawaz article, but I am assuming it is.)

User pages are intended primarily for content and info related to users' Wikipedia activities. While Wikipedia is generally quite tolerant and easy-going about this, there are limits and Wikipedia user pages are *not* general-purpose web space.

For this reason, if you wish to contribute to Wikipedia, I would recommend rewriting your user page to fit the guidelines better, or removing the content.

If you are using it for self-promotion, I would recommend that you use a more general-purpose web host for your page instead.

Thank you. Ubcule (talk) 17:26, 21 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

User:Farhad shahnawaz, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Farhad shahnawaz and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Continuing to remove the MfD template may lead to your being blocked. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 07:14, 23 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

September 2013 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did at User:Farhad shahnawaz, you may be blocked from editing. Jackmcbarn (talk) 15:24, 23 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because the username, Farhad shahnawaz, matches the name of a well-known, living person.

If you are the person represented by this username, please note that the practice of blocking such usernames is to protect you from being impersonated, not to discourage you from editing Wikipedia. You are welcome to continue to edit under this username, but we ask the following:

  1. Please be willing and able to prove your identity to Wikipedia.
  2. Please send an e-mail to info-en wikimedia.org. Be aware that the volunteer response team that handles e-mail is indeed operated entirely by volunteers, and the reply may not be immediate.

If you are not the person represented by this username, you are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Huon (talk) 01:23, 24 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
