Sources for Soft Tennis

Hello, good work on Soft Tennis, and thanks for the contribution. However, you forgot to add any references to the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. What websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to Soft Tennis? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? Hi there, thanks for uploading Image:Loren legarda.jpg. You tagged this image as public domain, but in the description you specified that the creator only allows non-commercial use of the image. I confirmed this by visiting the URL provided in the image description. Please note that public domain images are those which are not covered by copyright. In this case, the image is copyrighted but the creator allows use of it for non-commercial purposes. In addition, I'm afraid images which may not be used commercially are no longer allowed on Wikipedia (since May this year) and as such this image will shortly be deleted. Hiya... since "Senators of the Philippines" and "Presidents of the Philippines" are subcategories of "Politicians of the Philippines", it's not necessary to add all the articles on politicians to the "Politicians" category if they already belong to one of the subcategories. Hi, Exec8. Please, avoid uploading any new images of living Philipine politicians from http://www.senate.gov.ph. This images are not free and fail our policy on unfree content usage. For living people, we should produce free images (see Wikipedia:Fair use#Counterexamples item #8).

The general rules is that we only use unfree images when it's not possible to replace them by free alternatives, like a movie's screenshot in the article about the movie or a picture of a historic event in an article about that event.

For now, I've tagged the following replaceable images for deletion. As the uploader, you can help by tagging them with {{db-author}} to speedup the process.

Other image's problems

Also, in a number of images you had uploaded, you fail to properly cite a verifiable source. Without a verifiable source information, we can't, for instance, make sure the images is really released under a free license (like {{PD}}, that you used in most of these images).

Make sure to only upload images under free licenses, and provide links to backup the claim. Asking the copyright holder permission t o use an image on Wikipedia is not enough (read WP:COPYREQ for instructions on how to ask the copyright holder to release the image under a free license and document this in a verifiable way).

Sorry to revert your work, but this template is part of a standard series for all countries (well, most so far, but over 130 already - for the full list see here. It is far too big when local, regional etc elections are added (it doesn't even fit on an 800x600 resolution), so they are kept separate. Hope you're not too offended! Hi Exec8,

I'm Bentong Isles, an admin at ceb-wp. Please contact me on updates regarding the setting up of a Philippine Chapter of Wikimedia. I actually proposed it to Anthere even before the creation of ceb-wp, but they turned down the suggestion, telling me that its not an easy task to do.[1] I also have experience with the running of a foundation in the Philippines; currently I am the President for Cebu of the Save Our Languages through Federalism, Inc. (SOLFED). Unfortunately one of the biggest requirements for a foundation in our country is the 1-million peso bond, a direct result of the Estrada fictitious foundations back in 2000. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.
