Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Excelsoo28. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. AussieLegend () 13:22, 25 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

This needs to be done - your comments about getting information from the owner suggest undeclared paid editing is happening. Ravensfire (talk) 13:56, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Limited shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Discuss your changes on the article talk page and get consensus before continuing to force them into the article. Issues have been raised about your changes, repeatedly, and you are ignoring them. This needs to stop. Ravensfire (talk) 14:00, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

You are beyond the 3 revert limit for Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Limited, if you put your changes back in again, I will report this to the WP:EWN. Ravensfire (talk) 14:02, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

  Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Sources

edit

Many of your edits are lacking the needed sources that Wikipedia requires. You haven't asked anyone for help, so I've assumed you know what was needed, but just in case, please PLEASE read the pages on reliable sources which explains what Wikipedia considers good sources and why they are needed. The page Help:Citations quick reference is a good place to learn how to add those sources to articles the right way. You also need to start using the article talk page to discuss your edits. Ideally, editing on Wikipedia follows a WP:BRD cycle - you Boldly make a change, but when someone Reverts your edits, you Discuss it on the article talk page, not just keep making the edit over and over. That just ends up with you blocked from editing and helps nobody. Ravensfire (talk) 23:26, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring at Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Limited

edit

Hello Excels0028. You've been warned for edit warring on this article and for adding unsourced material. You are risking a block if this happens again. Your best option is for you to propose all changes on the article talk page, and wait for others to give their support. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 15:24, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Devoleena Bhattacharjee, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bengali (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Star Parivaar Awards

edit

Re: this and similar edits, the Star Parivaar Awards is a garbage award that has no place in a neutral encyclopedia. That award exists only to lavish praise onto its own shows and employees. It is the academic equivalent of bragging that your mum thinks you're handsome. See this discussion and the unanimous conclusion that it should not be included in articles. Please don't add this content again. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:27, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Caste and other unsourced changes

edit

Re: this, you don't get to decide what caste a person is in and you don't get to refactor content that isn't supported by the existing sources. Caste labels for a living person have to be self-identified, as some people, like Amitabh Bachchan do not subscribe to the caste system. It is not sufficient to guess caste based on family names or any other content. Don't make such changes again, as this is a highly problematic area and you will be subject to immediate discretionary sanctions. And don't add or change biographical details unless you can attribute them to reliable mainstream sources that have an established reputation for fact-checking and accuracy.   Hello, I'm Ravensfire. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of programs broadcast by Colors‎ without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Rashmi Sharma Telefilms

edit

This article was deleted in a discussion and and paid editor trying to force recreation so many times it is protected from being created again. Do NOT wikilink this again, the article was deleted for good reasons which have NOT changed. I'm hoping you've read WP:PAID and are making any required disclosures. I'm also hoping you don't have any previous accounts that have been blocked. Your promotion of this company is starting to raise serious concerns about your editing. Ravensfire (talk) 05:45, 13 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'm still very concerned about you having a COI and promoting this company. Edits like [1] where you are bolding the company name (and done across multiple other articles) are NOT how Wikipedia works. Wikipedia is not here to promote a company which is how it appears you are using it. Don't make edits like that again. If you need a policy reason besides NPOV, read MOS:BOLD. Ravensfire (talk) 14:58, 22 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Please stop your promotional and COI edits around this company. The article was deleted multiple times and is HIGHLY unlikely to be recreated, certainly not as a paid article. Red links are inappropriate in this case and WILL be removed. Ravensfire (talk) 14:41, 13 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please make again page of this company,i sure i not edits this page after build Excelsoo28 (talk) 00:05, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, I'm Ravensfire. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Muskaan (TV series) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Blanking the article is vandalism. Stop. Ravensfire (talk) 14:42, 13 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

  Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of programs broadcast by Star Bharat. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 14:43, 13 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, you may be blocked from editing. Ravensfire (talk) 14:44, 13 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Stop with the deletes. You will only end up blocked and not help yourself or Wikipedia. Ravensfire (talk) 14:45, 13 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

January 2020

edit

  Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Don't make edits where bold the production company name. You've been warned about this multiple times and keep doing it. There's obviously some undeclared WP:COI or paid editing happening here. Stop it. [2] Ravensfire (talk) 18:41, 28 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, you may be blocked from editing. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Alexf(talk) 15:31, 6 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
