Nomination of Nina Loves Girls for deletion

A suggestion

Hi Erpert! I've checked your articles (yes, I also nominated a couple), and, knowing how frustrating it could be to see some good faith-contributions deleted, I suggest you to consider a couple of things before writing articles in the future:

- PORNBIO requires awards or noms in multiple years for awards that are well-known, and "per consensus", for American performers, the well-known awards are four: AVN awards, XBIZ awards, XRCO awards and FAME awards. Orgazmik Award, AEBN Awards etc. are not notable and could not make anyone notable.

- Be sure, before writing an article about a porn film or film series, that it won some awards (as above, AVN, XRCO, XBIZ or FAME award). Wikipedia has anything against pornographic films that could demonstrate their notability: [[Category:Pornographic films]].

- In any case, try to avoid border-line cases. There's a lot of dislike for pornographic entertainment in Wikipedia and don't be surprised if someone is expecting a "casus belli" to evict pornography from it.

-There are a lot of "Porn-wikis" (ie, wikiporno.org) in which you can freely work without the restrictions that WP has in this field.

  • Wait...where's the consensus that only those four awards are notable? The last time I checked, Category:Pornographic film awards has several listings. Erpert ^{Who is this guy? | Wanna talk about it?} 20:23, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
    • PORNBIO requires being awared/nominated for well-known awards and Category:Pornographic film awards does not mean Category:Significant and well-known Pornographic film awards. I'm talking "per experience", having followed hundreds of porn-themed "discussions for deletion" in the last year. You can verify the Consensus in a lot of past AfD, searching for the archivied discussions... the only awards that are commonly considered "well-known" in WP are these four, other awards commonly involve the nomination and the deletion of the article. Ie, I've seen deleted a pornographic actress like Pinky that had not also an AVN Award nom and a FAME award nom (unfortunately in the same year), but also an half dozen of other award winnings and nominations that were considered not notable. Idem Aurora Jolie. Idem Amy Daly. Idem a lot of actors I don't remember the names. Like it or not, it is so. Cavarrone (talk) 21:28, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Conduct during discussions

• I've tried to be helpful and patient, but you really need to review your conduct during AFD discussions. As to how others have treated you, it doesn't matter. No one has in the discussion I've been a party to, WP:Articles for deletion/Orgazmik Europe. Calling someone a smartelec or accusing them of bad faith isn't acceptable regardless of any previous conduct toward you in previous discussions. Please try to stay on topic in discussions. You might also benefit from reading WP:BLUDGEON. (Highlights: The more you make an argument, the weaker it becomes, and the more likely you are going to get into an argument. It isn't necessary or desirable for one person to debate each and every opinion in a discussion.) And always be prepared for being on the "losing" side of consensus, but then it isn't like you own the article. You might not like what I'm saying, but I'm trying to (in good faith) offer you some tips for getting along better here. Dennis Brown (talk) 22:07, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Of course it doesn't matter. It never matters, because it's me. If people attacked you and nothing happened, but then you're accused of an attack, wouldn't you be frustrated? Also, you'll notice I said HW "seems to" act like a smart aleck, not he "does" act like a smart aleck. And as I pointed out, he insulted me first, but what a surprise; there's no message like this on his page. (And then people wonder why I have social anxiety?)
