Speedy deletion of Denis Sokolov

edit

A tag has been placed on Denis Sokolov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 17:58, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Anyuta Slavskaya

edit

Hi, I'm Lstanley1979. Egomsk, thanks for creating Anyuta Slavskaya!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. I've restructured and copy-edited the article. Could you please add some references verifying each part of the article - if she's a notable singer and TV presenter, these won't be hard to find, and they don't have to be in English. Thanks!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. LS1979 (talk) 10:11, 31 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello Egomsk. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Perpetuum Music, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Egomsk. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Egomsk|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. nearlyevil665 18:46, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dear nearlyevil665, i'm not a paid advocat. I'm just translate some russian issue about popular in Russia musicians to English. You can check in Russian Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Egomsk (talkcontribs)

Thank you. Please keep in mind that you need to attribute translation from other Wikimedia projects, please see WP:TFOLWP on this. Also, keep in mind that a subject doesn't qualify for English Wikipedia just because it is found on the Russian Wikipedia. It still needs to satisfy English Wikipedia's notability requirements. You can read more on that at WP:N. nearlyevil665 19:06, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dear nearlyevil665! I got it! Thank you!

Vika Tsiganova moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Vika Tsiganova, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.

Most importantly, this biography of a living person has not a single source apart from her official website. Randykitty (talk) 17:17, 24 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
