Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Eagle Mountain, California has been reverted.
Your edit here to Eagle Mountain, California was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvK4bOhULCpmLabd2pDMtnA, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpbaAzM8xLc) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.   Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Matthew Seligman. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Acroterion (talk) 14:37, 4 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

I've known Matthew Seligman for 20 years. Matthew has been friends and colleagues with Robyn Hitchcock for 45 years. Robyn wouldn't have informed me and others in a public forum if the news weren't 100% true. DylanMoz49 (talk) 16:39, 4 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Don't add unreferenced information on peoples' health to the encyclopedia. Ever. We're not hosting a race to report when people get sick. Acroterion (talk) 16:45, 4 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Message received. You don't have to be a jerk about it. DylanMoz49 (talk) 17:48, 4 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

There have been a lot of people doing things like this, or worse yet, adding reports of deaths without substantiation. Our patience is scant in the best of times for that sort of thing. On the other hand, I sincerely hope that Matthew starts feeling better soon. Best wishes to you, Acroterion (talk) 18:02, 4 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

I don't think that common occurrence of improper edits justifies you being a jerk about it. People are upset! I wouldn't have made the edit I did if I didn't know full well that Matthew wouldn't have minded. I simply wanted to inform people who care. I won't be contributing to Wikipedia anymore. Life is precious and short. I'm going to go live it. I suggest you take a long, hot bath.

One more thing...the info at in the last paragraph on Matthew is incorrect - Lily is his mum and "Deji" should read "Daisy," his only child, a daughter.

Careful with the "minor edit" button

edit

Hey, I jnoticed you're marking a lot of your edits as minor. I got my hand slapped when I first started editing for doing what I thought were super minor edits. It should really only be used for typos and correcting things that fall within reference brackets. Just a heads up. Peace.DolyaIskrina (talk) 16:27, 21 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
