I am HiLo48 and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! HiLo48 (talk) 05:00, 16 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Categories edit

Your numerous recent category additions have mostly been deleted. It is at best unclear that the meaning of country1 country2 relations applies in any of these cases. The category should rightfully be applied when the relations between said countries are being discussed not simply because an event involving one country has happened in another, such things happen everyday and I wonder where you are going to stop.

Also it is best to avoid changing from an IP to a logged in user in the middle of editing. It can be construed as trying to avoid responsibility for previous edits but people here are rarely fooled by such tactics. Andrewgprout (talk) 06:01, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

November 2019 edit

Your recent editing history at UPS Airlines Flight 6 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You are now being disruptive Andrewgprout (talk) 18:28, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Warning edit

Please do not edit war at UPS Airlines Flight 6 your addition has been challenged and you need to go to the talk page, make your case for addition and gain a consensus. If you continue to edit war you will be blocked so please take care. MilborneOne (talk) 19:09, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Samf4u. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Korean Air Cargo Flight 8509—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Samf4u (talk) 16:41, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

November 2019 edit

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Qantas Flight 1, you may be blocked from editing. Please gain consensus that the category actually involves inter country relations before adding the multitute of these you are adding. You have had multiple warnings about this Andrewgprout (talk) 19:10, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please note that you are clearly meeting some resistance to adding x-y relations categories in aircraft accident articles were they are not relevant, please take care because you may be blocked from editing for being disruptive if you continue to add these categories. 2014 Endeavour Hills stabbings edit

Hi Drew005

Your edits[1] to the article 2014 Endeavour Hills stabbings removed a link to Portal:Australia and replaced it with a link to Porta:Victoria.

Porta:Victoria doesn't exist. It was deleted on 12 October 2019 per the consensus at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Portal:Victoria.

So why did you do this? --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 21:56, 1 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

December 2019 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in 1956 B-47 disappearance, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Samf4u (talk) 14:17, 2 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Warning edit

You have been asked and warned before that you should not keep adding non-relevant relations links to aircraft accidents. You have continued to do so and that is bei;ng disruptive. If you do it again without further discussion you will be blocked from editing, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 14:56, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Why did you continue to add these without further discussion, you are very close to being blocked for your disruption. You need to heed what others including User:Andrewgprout have explained to you. Dont add them again I will just block you next time. MilborneOne (talk) 08:46, 7 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Important Notice edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Block Notice edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 36 hours for continuing to add relations categories after being warned to stop and discuss. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MilborneOne (talk) 14:44, 10 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Next time, I will request to add categories before adding them on pages Drew005 (talk) 04:33, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You've provided no reason to believe this will be the case. Given that you deliberately ignored many previous warnings, I'm disinclined to lift the block. Yamla (talk) 11:19, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

No, for real i'm serious this time Drew005 (talk) 12:56, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. -- Deepfriedokra 13:35, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Listen, i understand why i'm blocked, i didn't thought clearly before adding categories and i will make sure that i'll ask permission before adding the categories. I will not go crazy and start adding categories and i regret doing that leading to all of this. I feel guilty letting this all happen. I just want to say that i clearly understand why i'm blocked for now and i'm very sorry Drew005 (talk) 23:24, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

Procedural accept; your block has already expired. Yamla (talk) 12:01, 12 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

  1. Your block already has expired
  2. From your edit here I understand that you have not the right idea about international relations and Diplomacy. And that is where those categories are about.

December 2019 edit

Hello, I noticed that you made an edit on Japan Airlines Flight 123 but it has been reverted because it did not appear to be constructive. If you think I made a mistake, please let me know below, or send a message on my talk page. Thank you. The person who should not be named (talk) 22:12, 12 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Sources needed for Days of the Year pages edit

You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages now require direct sources for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Almost all new additions without references are now being reverted on-sight.

Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages.

Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 03:53, 10 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

January 2020 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at United Airlines Flight 175, you may be blocked from editing. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
