This image is available on the site "ilportaledellescommesse.com". I don't know who is the copyright holder. The photo of the trophy is made during the elaboration of the calendar of Serie A some years ago. This image is available with a google research and also in other versions. Hi Disgusto edit

Thanks for making more Italian clubs in European football articles! Do you mind doing the same thing with S.S.C. Napoli? If possible, transform this ugly table that is found on S.S.C. Napoli's article, into the tables we usually use with the scores and such. Thanks! Regards, Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 23:40, 14 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of A.C. Cesena in European football edit

Hello, Disgusto. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, A.C. Cesena in European football, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

@Onel5969: Why is there no place to support delete/keep? Because there is no article talk page? Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 14:08, 29 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Simply click on the talk page link. No talk page exists currently, but your clicking there will create it, and you can leave your comments there. Onel5969 TT me 14:10, 29 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Onel5969: Actually, the tag states, simply, "you may remove this message if you improve the article or otherwise object to deletion for any reason. Although not required, you are encouraged to explain why you object to the deletion, either in your edit summary or on the talk page. If this template is removed, do not replace it." Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 14:16, 29 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
That's correct. But that's not what you asked. You asked about supporting delete/keep, which to me indicates you wish to make a comment. If you disagree, you can simply remove the prod, or if you agree you could add a {{prod2}} template, which says you endorse the prod action. Hope this helps. Deletion of the pages involving some italian clubs in European Football edit

I've read on various alerts that the pages of the results in Europe of some italian football clubs (Cesena, Empoli, Genoa, Vicenza) colud be delete. If the problem is the source of the results, we could make a link on the UEFA website. If you delete these pages, you annulled my work to create the pages themselves. Thank you. An article you recently created, Russia at the FIFA Women's World Cup, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. UEFA Super Cup Trophy edit

The photo in the article is clearly taken on 16 January 1974 with the location marked as Amsterdam, here is the original source of the photo, so its literally uploaded at Nationaal Archief and the information is therefore highly reliable, so nothing is wrong with the caption, unless you can provide a source that this image from a very reliable website has wrong date. Snowflake91 (talk) 10:59, 5 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you check the italian version of this page: "https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercoppa_UEFA" the caption of the picture has the specification that I've said. I don't know the origin of this image, but that trophy isn't the official UEFA Supercup, but the unofficial trophy played in January 1973. The first UEFA Supercup, played in January 1974, has a different trophy.

User:Disgusto, 13:15 5 August 2023 (UTC)

The pictures at Italian and English Wikipedias are NOT the same, the Italian has this image - dated 24 January 1973 (match against Rangers), while English has this one, dated 16 January 1974 (match against Milan), they look very similar but are taken one year apart. Snowflake91 (talk) 11:25, 5 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
So the pictures are different, but the trophy is the same in both cases. The important thing is to know this detail. User:Disgusto, 15:06 5 August 2023 (UTC)

Mitropa Cup as first European trophy edit

Hi Disgusto, I write to you here because for some reasons I cannot reply to the post you left on my user talk page. Then we should adjust the European debut of all the Italian teams that you indicated, making it the Mitropa Cup. I did not do it because my edits are mostly focused on AC Milan, but that in itself is not a wrong information, it is just inconsistent because the other Italian teams do not show it as the European debut.
