Sears page edits edit

Hello David J. This is to let you know that I have finally started to add content to the page you initiated on Paul Sears. (I'd forgotten you started that!) I don't know, short of just deleting, how to "un-stub" this page, but it may achieve that state in the near future. Perhaps you'd like to take care of that detail, and maybe check the categories too? Robert ParkeHarrison edit

Hi David,

I was "patrolling" new pages and wondering will you be adding something indicating notability to the page Robert ParkeHarrison? Otherwise it will be a candidate for deletion. Cheers, laurap414 (talk) 23:28, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:HenryAlvahStrong.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:HenryAlvahStrong.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:31, 28 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability of ChessV software program? edit

Hi David, I noticed you on http://chessvariants.wikidot.com/ . I'm wondering if you have any references to contribute to establish the notability of ChessV? If not, perhaps you'd be able to pull content from the article into the chess variants wiki? (Noting the licensing, of course). Thanks for any thoughts! Your submission at Articles for creation: Richard Verber (April 12) edit

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by KylieTastic was: Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Hi Kylie, yes, I understand about the small number of references. I'll have to work on that. There is an article on him in the Chicago Tribune (https://www.chicagotribune.com/2001/12/16/richard-w-verber-57/), but it requires a subscription to read. I think the subject was notable in Chicago and the local chess community, but not generally notable. In any case, thanks for the feedback and I'll work on it a little more. I just wanted to get a stub created to work off of, and perhaps to get some other people to help work on. Thanks again!
