Speedy deletion of Joshua hrouda edit

A tag has been placed on Joshua hrouda requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your question about bark edit

Hi! You posted a question last April on the talk page for bark. I don't know if you've been back since, so I thought I'd give you a heads-up. While nobody's specifically answered your question, there's been some discussion since then that might shed some light.

First, a remark in the article about three trees that don't have bark (Some trees are large, some trees are small) has been removed as one problem-person's nonsense. But there's been some discussion on palm trees. The upshot is, palm tree trunks grow in a different manner, and by a different mechanism than other trees. What would commonly be considered bark on a palm tree forms in a different way, so technically, it's something different.

By the way, I'm a completely unregistered user, using whatever computer I happen to be on. If you answer me at some "talk page" for me, I might or might not see it. 140.147.236.194 (talk) 14:36, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Stephen KoscieszaReply

December 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Iron Chef are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages.
