Response to CycloneYoris
Hello, I'm CycloneYoris. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Uday Samant, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CycloneYoris talk! 10:24, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
Due to some technical glitch on my side, i'm unable to cite the source. I'm providing the link here: https://affidavit.eci.gov.in/show-profile/Njk3OQ==/OA==/NA==/Mw==/QUM= — Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.119.84.77 (talk • contribs) 05:28, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

Request for NAC rationale
Regarding Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2021 April 30 § George Trebek: Could I request that you add a rationale for your NAC here? By the numbers, the !votes were 3 retarget, 3 keep, 1 weak keep, with a number of arguments raised in both directions, which to me doesn't suggest a strong enough consensus (in either direction) to close without analyzing the arguments. Respectfully. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 06:45, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Tamzin: The weak keep !vote is also counted as a keep, at least from my perspective, and there seems to be a strong enough consensus which is leaning towards a keep. But I'll gladly undo my close and relist the discussion if you feel dissatisfied with the outcome. CycloneYoris talk! 06:55, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- I'd be happy with a relist; I also think it'd be reasonable to close as no consensus. FWIW, I think that "weak keep = keep" kind of defeats the point of !votes not being votes, but that's just a general observation about discussion-closing philosophy.
- P.S. It maddens me too, but my understanding is that to correct a failed ping, you need to add a new line of text containing both the ping and your signature. Has to be all three of those parts at once. See Help:Fixing failed pings. (Also I'm pretty sure the {{u}} version would have worked if not for the typo.) -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 07:16, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Tamzin: Yeah, it was probably because of the typo that the ping didn't work the first time LOL. P.S. I've now relisted the discussion on today's log page. CycloneYoris talk! 07:45, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- Well, you're in good company alongside the receptionist at my doctor's office, who called me "Tazmin" today. And thanks. This inspired me to go close out 4/19, since the only remaining discussion there was almost unanimous. Still, my first non-procedural NAC in a long time, so I hope I didn't do anything wrong! -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 07:49, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Tamzin: You're welcome! Oh not at all, that was a well done NAC, since consensus was clearly unanimous. Yeah sorry about that typo, I've been sort of dyslexic lately, guess I'll have to stop working on my laptop so often LOL. CycloneYoris talk! 08:01, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- Fixing pings still doesn't work that way. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 08:14, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Tamzin: It sure doesn't! :) CycloneYoris talk! 08:21, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
