Thank you Deb - I appreciate the assistance over the immediate deletion. I've discovered too many contributors are willing to delete articles faster than working with the writer to figure it out. Yes I'm new to this, so I'm trying to familiarize myself with the policies, but I'd rather have help from the community than feel outcasted that I'm not one of the chosen few that have the rights to write an article. - If you feel like that, why not try amending an existing article rather than creating a new one? There are plenty that need improvement. At the moment your edits are starting to look like you are only interested in Rachel McCrary and promoting her business interests, rather than improving the encyclopedia. - @Deb - I'm interested in writing an article on a topic that is trending. Women in business and technology companies that are succeeding. After attending a startup and business leadership event and hearing Rachael speak, I was amazed that there wasn't already an article about her or her company. The fact that she is a strong businesswoman with a company that has an incredibly unique spin on her segment should be more than enough justification for writing something. There are dozens of legitimate and credible articles on websites like Inc. to prove this isn't personal or promotional. If I had your job it would be easy.... mark for speedy deletion, move on. You don't really care, nor have you really done due diligence on the subject matter. If you would have, you would have seen the growing trends on this topic, and would have been more helpful in your feedback. Maybe I'll just cruise around wikipedia and start identifying other articles that should be deleted.... just because they look promotional.
