November 2013 edit

Hello. Inspecting your contributions, in combination with your username, has convinced me that you are only here to push a specific POV, to wage ideological battles [1], and to generally disrupt Wikipedia. Quoting polemic statements into Wikipedia [2][3] is not WP:NPOV. Using Wikipedia to publicize dubious information about a living person [4] is especially problematic. This account is therefore blocked from further editing until there is a discussion about what articles you want to edit, and how (specifically) you plan to improve them, and an agreement to change your username to something that neither baits, threatens, or otherwise antagonizes other editors. There should also be a disclosure of any prior accounts you've used that have been blocked or banned. Jehochman Talk 13:04, 18 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Per comments below; Camelbinky's comment about the username, which you did not respond to, in particular. — Daniel Case (talk) 03:32, 21 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Jehochman, the conclusions you have made about me are incorrect. I also disagree with your analysis of the specific edits you referenced above, none of which violated Wikipedia policy. I am appealing your block because I do not believe that any user should be blocked indefinitely from Wikipedia for the spurious reasons you used in blocking me. Also, since I cannot edit any other pages besides this one, I wish to mention that Camelbinky made an accusation on Jimbo Wales' page to the effect that I was responsible for the creation of an account called User:Barack Obama DA PREZ. I have never seen or heard of that page before, and it has nothing to do with me. Corpse-ManoftheObamaclypse (talk) 05:57, 20 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your username declares that you are here to fight political battles, and your editing seems to follow that declaration. This is not what Wikipedia is for. Jehochman Talk 13:14, 20 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
Corpse, you have heard that other user name before because you were accused of being that user name back in July and were warned to change your current name and you ignored it. You have had plenty of time to change your name and stay away from polemic editing of political topics. As long as you choose to be combative and have a battleground mentality that Wikipedia debates and discussions are about snarky comments you will not edit Wikipedia. Perhaps your energy should be focused on asking to "start fresh" under a new name and with probationary period.Camelbinky (talk) 20:58, 20 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
Jehochman, that is nonsense. Camelbinky, I have no idea what you are talking about, and I have no recollection of being accused of creating some other Wikipedia page that I know nothing about. As far as having a battleground mentality, I would remind you that you are the one who started this battle, not me. As to your suggestion that I ask permission to "start fresh" under a new name and under supervision, I have considered it. I am now willing to change my username as a gesture of good faith. I am, however, unwilling to be subject to a probationary period, because I have not violated Wikipedia policy in any way. Corpse-ManoftheObamaclypse (talk) 00:37, 27 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
It was only 6 months ago or so. You say you dont remember that... well, I don't know. Someone will have to do a checkuser I suppose regarding that. Your claim however, that you have not violated Wikipedia policy in any way and are unwilling to go through a probationary period shows a lack of acknowledgement of your mistakes regarding your name and your battleground mentality. Your statement "you are the one who started this battle, not me" is further showing that you consider this, and Wikipedia disputes in general as "battles". This is not a battle, nothing on Wikipedia is a battle. The fact you can not acknowledge that is disturbing and shows you will only find minor discussions grow into disputes that will not be settled genially. You are not ready to edit Wikipedia. Self-reflection and reading our policies and guidelines and various essays first before editing again would be helpful.Camelbinky (talk) 01:46, 27 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
