DISPLAYTITLE edit

See WP:DISPLAYTITLE for usage. Hint: You might want to make sure "User:" is in the title. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 02:29, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Oh, thank you! :) I wanted to add some color to my userpage and was just testing this out and didn’t quite know what I was doing. Colathewikian (talk) 02:34, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Neither did the editor who asked the question in 2013 over on Template talk:DISPLAYTITLE#Can't Get This to Work ....   davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 02:39, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
So that’s what led you to my userpage in the first place! XD We were all at one point newbies.:) -Colathewikian (talk) 03:15, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Actually, it was the other way around, Category:Pages with disallowed DISPLAYTITLE modifications‎‎ is on my watch list. When you had an invalid DISPLAYTITLE, I noticed. From there, I looked at your contributions. From there, I wound up at the template's talk page. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 03:19, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I see. :O -Colathewikian (talk) 03:27, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
