Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Tracsstaff. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Ifnord (talk) 13:58, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Ab207. I noticed that you recently removed content from Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please do not assume ownership of articles as you did at Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. Naraht (talk) 18:06, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
Revisions
editThis article was edited by current TRACS staff to update address, current staff / personnel, current institutions (as of March 2021) and to remove blatantly biased statements by a previous editor promoting his book.
Shared use.
editYour username is also problematic as it indicates shared use. Please read Wikipedia:Username_policy#Usernames_implying_shared_use. Naraht (talk) 15:13, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
Inaccurate information
editI am writing as a current staff member for the agency that is the subject of this article. This article is inaccurate in several areas; current staff titles, Commission Secretary, and current member institutions. Additionally, much of the historical information for our agency is written from, as we contend, a biased point of view and lacks full context. One of the notes in the history section was originally written by a gentlemen with an historical bias against our agency and promotes his own book on this subject. This would seem to present an external; conflict of interest. Each time we have attempted to edit this article to reflect accurate history in context and to reflect current reality, it has been reverted to the previous inaccurate or incomplete content.
Article Ownership
editThere are two specific ways in which your edits are problematic.
1) Your username indicates that it is for a group of people. Each username must be for *one* specific person. 2) You are claiming ownership of the article. Individuals do not change articles. Please see WP:OWN.Naraht (talk) 18:41, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

Request reason:
as a current staff person for the agency which is the subject of this article, it is disheartening to see such baltant and, I beleive, intential misrepresntation from individuals with no first hand knowledge.
Decline reason:
This doesn't address the reason for your block. Yamla (talk) 13:35, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I've fixed your request as you only had one "}" at the end. Of course you've ignored my advice and continued attacks on other editors, so you shouldn't expect to be unblocked and if such attacks and lack of good faith continues may be blocked entirely. Doug Weller talk 12:13, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- "baltant and, I beleive, intential misrepresntation" - 4 typos in 6 words, coming from an educational regulator? Wow!
- You need to change your username as requested above. This name represents a role within an organisation. Your username needs to represent YOU, not your job. Please read the Username policy, choose another name, and request the change at WP:CHU/S. Cabayi (talk) 11:28, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
