You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, instead of writing it yourself, as you did at Racetrack Babies. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Speedy deletion nomination of Racetrack Babies

Status and Advice

As reviewing administrator, I deleted the article. On the now deleted talk p. you said :

Please do not be so eager to delete nessessary pages. Wait and see how much they will be read. I know this is our own software but we have tried to decribe it just as objective as our competitors have described their product, we have been looking for a place to explain objectively as possible what our software package does compared to the others on the market. Not having our product described is twisting the competition. Competitors like ImageJ, and adobe acrobat, also have software product explaining sheets. A new disciplin with image measurement has been introduced and this this tool meets the needs in this area very well.

WP is not a product directory. We do not include topics on the basis that the world should hear about them--that's the purpose of a press release; we include topics on the basis that the world does already know of them, and therefore people might reasonably want to know some basic information, because they are already important--that's the purpose of an encycopedia. (We judge the importance by the demonstration of references providing substantial coverage from third-party independent reliable sources (not press releases or mere announcements) . You make comparisons with some other companies. People already know of Adobe and write about its products extensively. ImageJ has references showing its wide use. Comparing your not yet well known project to the leader in the field indicates your intent to promote it. We do not do thsat.

I guess that Wikipedia administrators should learn to prioritize information enrichment vs. fighting enthustiatic persons information flow who like to explain about their field of expertise. In this case we inform you guys and enrich the wikipedia with information of a whole new technical field, the development of planimetrics moving from begin a timeconsuming analog procedure done manually with a wheel now moving to digital imaging , but because you do not poses the knowledge to identify this you prefeer to keep wikipedia without this information and not updated. First og all Adobe Acrobat has not had the perimetric feature before last year, and google earth pro has just become free currently, KLONK Image measurement as you see was created in 1993 even before the free ImageJ product and was the first commercial product which had this measurement feature built into it. There is no text in the product description which promotes this only explantory text. Is it possible to excalate this issue? This will be the ruin of Wikipedia. You say that wikipedia is not a product kataloge but never the less you list products which have been developed direclty insperied from our product.
