"Hải Ninh District" listed at Redirects for discussion edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Hải Ninh District. Since you had some involvement with the Hải Ninh District redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. signed, Rosguill talk 18:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation pages edit

Hello, ChanComThemPho. When you moved Hưng Mỹ to a new title and then changed the old title into a disambiguation page, and did the same with numerous other titles, you may not have been aware of WP:FIXDABLINKS, which says:

When creating disambiguation pages, fix all resulting mis-directed links.
Before moving an article to a qualified name (in order to create a disambiguation page at the base name, to move an existing disambiguation page to that name, or to redirect that name to a disambiguation page), click on What links here to find all of the incoming links. Repair all of those incoming links to use the new article name.

It would be a great help if you would check the other Wikipedia articles that contain links to "Hưng Mỹ" and fix them to take readers to the correct article. Thanks. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 02:04, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation links to other Wikipedias edit

When you establish a disambiguation page, please do not inlcude links to other language Wikipedias, as you did at, e.g., Phúc Thọ. Having a link to the district that contains the commune is fine, as long as there is an enWP article for the district, but please leave out the viWP link to the commune article. Phìn Hồ edit

Just going to make the same request as the others above: please be more careful creating disambiguation pages. A disambiguation page is not necessary in the case of two articles; use hat notes. No redlinking to non-existing articles (unless there are already existing red links elsewhere) and no linking to articles in other languages. Thank you.--Goldsztajn (talk) 05:46, 18 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Phìn Hồ edit

Hello, ChanComThemPho

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Goldsztajn and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've proposed an article that you started, Phìn Hồ, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criteria and I believe that the article obviously and uncontroversially does not belong in an encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Goldsztajn}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

I have sent you a note about a page you started edit

Hello, ChanComThemPho

Thank you for creating Hồng Giang.

User:Boleyn, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Disambiguation page entries need to meet MOS:DABRL, MOS:DABMENTION or have an article. Many of the dabs you are creating don't have entries meeting this.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Boleyn}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Proposed deletion of Trị An edit

The article Trị An has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:NOTGAZETEER

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
