Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Trailer Park Boys has been reverted.
Your edit here to Trailer Park Boys was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/user/tpbSwearNet/videos) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. License tagging for File:Urban-Dictionary.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Urban-Dictionary.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:05, 23 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

November 2015

edit

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Helena Mattsson  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 08:13, 29 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Revert at Clint Eastwood

edit

Hi Cewlt – I noticed you reverted my rollback on the Clint Eastwood article. Was there something wrong with my rollback? It doesn't immediately appear obvious to me. Thanks, Prodego talk 01:40, 15 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

The whole page was vandalized, with nudity in the background. I was having some trouble reverting it but I had thought I did it correctly. It was vandalized by this user: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/71.54.54.104 Which is show in the edit history, it also shows I think you reverting it, yet the page was still vandalized. I am new to most of Wikipedia's functions such as reverting and also replying to messages.
Thanks for reverting that! I think you saw an older version of the page, that's the same editor who I reverted yesterday. They actually made two edits and so when you undid their first edit it inadvertently added back their second (which just had a slight change to the name). That editor also didn't add any images, so I'm concerned how it might have gotten on there. Can you confirm the page looks ok now? (I formatted your comment for you too!) Prodego talk 01:59, 15 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

I really am confused now. I just went through my browser history and the edit history but can't find the vandalized page. I have had some problems with old pages due to my browser not fulling refreshing(CTRL+F5) so maybe that was it. I apologize.

About the picture, it was pretty crude nudity (large image of a vagina) and I was surprised because the actual page background was replaced with it. I didn't think someone would be able to replace the entire page background.

Don't worry, you didn't imagine it :). I tracked it down: what happened was a bit of tricky vandalism. A user edited a template that is included on many pages in Wikipedia to add the images you saw. This put the images on many articles at the same time, including the Clint Eastwood page. You can't directly see the template edit in the article history, but in this case it was an edit by User:Its like this dad to Template:Guardiantopic that you can see in the page history here. The edit was reverted and the user blocked. If you are interested in more about what happened you can read more about it at the help desk. Prodego talk 03:05, 15 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Steve Easterbrook, McDonalds CEO, March 2015.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Steve Easterbrook, McDonalds CEO, March 2015.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 05:03, 1 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
