I do not understand what I should put in. I thought the first thing to do before adding any content anywhere in Wikipedia was to create a user page. Please give me some help, I am new at this and have no idea what I did wrong aside from being too enthusiastic, perhaps. Thank you
PS should I create a personal bio somewhere else? I have a long history as an experimental particle physicist, with over 50 published papers in professional journals like Physical Review Letters? Did I forget to put some tag in? I don't have any knowledge about tags; I am just starting. Where should I start if not with a user page? Should this content have been placed on my "talk" page?

- Your user page is a place to tell about yourself as a Wikipedia editor or user only, it is not for posting your full biography. See WP:USERPAGE for information on what is acceptable (and not) user page content. This page is for communication with you.
- Wikipedia is not a place for people to tell the world about themselves and their accomplishments, this is an encyclopedia that summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a person, showing how they meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable person. Autobiographical articles are strongly discouraged, as people naturally write favorably about themselves. See WP:AUTO as well as the five pillars. 331dot (talk) 13:44, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
