Propylhexedrine

Of course you ingest SALTS of hydrochloric acid. Example: Table salt, being the sodium salt of hydrochloric acid, sodium chloride. Of course you ingest salt of sulphuric acid, example bitter salt, being magnesium sulphate, when you can't shit. Don't contribute to any chemical discussion until you have taken a basic level chemistry class *you twat* (thats what you said in your edit summary) Are all Americans high school dropout plantation workers? Get a goddam GED. That you have learned a monkey language like C++ or Java doesn't mean you automatically have a judgement over chemical science facts. Methamphetamine

Hi; I think most of your changes have improved the article, but I don't agree with the changes you made to the lead. Simply saying "methamphetamine has the potential to lead to addiction" is too weak. The evidence shows that there are two classes of drugs that are extremely addictive: psychomotor stimulants such as cocaine and amphetamine, and opiates such as morphine or heroin. Of these, the psychomotor stimulants are actually more dangerous, because there is less tendency for the addiction to stabilize at a "maintenance" level. Lots of drugs are addictive to some degree. Unfortunately, there is a difference between "striving for having everything verifiable" and claiming a citation is an "exceptional claim." Wikipedia is very clear: red flags are reserved only for "exceptional claims." As you flag randomly, it appears you have no reverence for basic Wikipedia standards. "Exceptional," not ordinary, claims require "exceptional sources." Unless the point is "contentious," or the language is clearly biased, a red flag is inappropriate, if not irresponsible.

If you wish to cite something beyond what others already have, you are welcome to do so— but please only flag items simply because they lack a citation. if you don't respect Wikipedia guidelines for flagging, I am entitled to enforce it by removing your irreverence for those guidelines. If you're too lazy to read 4 lines in a policy manual, I suggest not going out of your way on areas you clearly don't care about.

If you are so interested in having a Geurilla-style discipline to your editing, good luck getting more rank as an editor— I will point it out if you ever are reviewed for a higher class. This has nothing to do with the topic. It's about you reducing Wikipedia to a 6th grade book report, paraphrased from some other encyclopedia. That's not what we do here.

MDMA: Hallucinogen / Stimulant

Hello there. Regarding the drug use template, I think MDMA can be far more readily classified as a stimulant than as a hallucinogen. Sure it's both.. as well as entactogen, but its psychedelic effects are by far the least prominent of the three properties. MDMA really barely even qualifies as a psychedelic.. it just produces color enhancement and perhaps very, very mild mental imagery at standard doses. Its stimulant properties on the other hand are quite prominent. I don't know if you've ever done MDMA or not, but I can assure you from personal experience, its psychedelia is negligible at best..

So, I'm going to move it back to the stimulants template. Hallucinogen is just not suitable..

One thing that most of these drugs do not do, despite the ingrained usage of the term hallucinogen, is to cause hallucination. Hallucinations, strictly speaking, are perceptions that have no basis in reality, but that appear entirely realistic. A typical "hallucination" induced by a psychedelic drug is more accurately described as a modification of regular perception, and the subject is usually quite aware of the illusory and personal nature of their perceptions. Deliriants, such as diphenhydramine and atropine, may cause hallucinations in the proper sense.

Oh sure me too, I mean in a psychedelic way if that's what you were saying. I combined phenelzine (Nardil) an MAOI with it one time.. not smart but I was fine for the most part. I was on some weed and K too and well, let's just say I think I tripped the hardest I ever have that night. The MDMA definitely played a major role in it. It was powerfully psychedelic. Regardless, though, at normal doses / without mixing MDMA's psychedelic effects are generally pretty dormant.

You redirected Desoxyn to the wrong compound.

Desoxyn is methamphetamine hydrochloride, not dextromethamphetamine. [2]

Please get your facts straight. The information which has been pasted into the Desoxyn article is the drug information approved by the US FDA. The molecule diagram in that publication (linked above) bears absolutely no resemblance to the diagram linked in dextroamphetamine.

Foreign-language contributions

Hi. {{db-foreign}} is only used in the situation (not common in my experience) where an article from a foreign WP has been cut-and-pasted here (the point being that to do that loses the contribution record - there is a procedure at WP:TRANSLATE for doing it properly). The foreign WP reference should be included in the tag, e.g. {{db-foreign|source=es:Warekena}}.

Much more usually, what we get is a foreign text input by somebody who probably doesn't know any other WP exists. The right tag then is {{notenglish}}, which is not a speedy request - because sometimes these articles are worth translating. When that expands on the article page, it gives you a message and a link to the place to paste it on WP:PNT, where someone who knows the language may pick it up and translate or PROD or whatever is appropriate.

If you know or can guess the language, then put, e.g., {{notenglish|Spanish}}. That gives a more useful template, including a link to the relevant foreign Wikipedia, and also a link to Google Translate, which will show you a machine translation - rough and ready, but often good enough (as with Clauisabel magdaleno just now) to tell you that the article is about a NN band or person and can be speedy tagged without bothering to list it at PNT.

The Google Translate facility can be used to help guess the language - e.g. if it looks like Arabic but the translation makes no sense, try Farsi.

There is a useful set of message templates such as {{contrib-ru1}} to give the author a bilingual message saying we require English and pointing him to the foreign WP. List of them at WP:PNT/T. The most exotic one I have yet used for real is {{contrib-sq1}}.

Both of these pages are disambiguation pages, which means that the fewer incoming links to them, the better. In a perfect world, all disambiguation pages would be orphans. Well. I could not speedy under G4 as it was speedily deleted. I think it does assert significance, but don't believe it has independent notability. Redirect to main company's article is a possibility. I gutted the promo fluff and irrelevant puff. It may be that the creator has training in marketing or communications. Beedi

Hi, thanks for your work on the Beedi page, but the inter-sentence citations, while annoying, do serve a purpose. Perhaps it would be better to use the style "for X fact, see Y citation" instead of removing all the citations to the end of the sentence? See superscript number 18, at the end of the sentence "Both the US and Canada have banned flavoured cigarettes" to see what I mean. Thanks, Fleetham (talk) 01:51, 25 December 2012 (UTC)

Hey there! We seem to have similar interests and I've seen you around on a lot of the pages I've been editing. Also, thanks for the barn star. Anyway, let me know if you see anything related to psychoactive substances or neurochemistry that you need help with or that you think needs to be done. The RFC for TAFI is nearing it's conclusion, and it's time to hammer out the details over at the project's talk page. There are several details of the project that would do well with wider input and participation, such as the article nomination and selection process, the amount and type of articles displayed, the implementation on the main page and other things. re: Monsanto & American Drug War
