How you can help

Hello Barkeep49, thank you for welcoming me and giving me tips, I am still trying to learn more about contributing to Wikipedia. I wanted to find a way that I could contribute, and I found patrols when reading through many different articles on my first day. I learned a lot about doing things on Wikipedia, such as useboxes, barnstars (which is a really neat way of recognizing people for their contributions I think), and helping out others. I am glad to have joined patrols, as it is my main intention to help make Wikipedia even better whenever I can during my free time. I am new at editing and contributing, although I have been using Wikipedia as a helpful resource for a long time now without making an account. I now feel like since Wikipedia has helped me with so many things before when I needed information, I should help out and contribute some of my own, or at least cite and/or fix grammar errors and other things that Wikipedia needs help with, such as spam, etc. which I have read about through articles. I will read the articles you mentioned above, try and always add an edit description, and will remember to sign my articles now. Thank you for your help so far, I look forward to getting my 500 edits in due time and hopefully become your apprentice in the NPP someday. Boisteroushamster (talk) 14:27, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

My pleasure. You might want to make sure you're logged going forward. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 03:03, 30 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Barkeep49, I’ve gone inactive for a while and have made a few mistakes when it comes to small vandalism. Is there a way I could ever become a pending changing reviewer because of this? Thanks, 20:22, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

Boisteroushamster, has your account be compromised? These edits don't appear to fit your previous editing pattern... --IJBall (contribstalk) 22:47, 10 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
