Napoléon (1927 film)
editWelcome to Wikipedia!
I am very excited that Napoléon is coming to my city: Oakland. I have tickets to see it—bought them last July. I intend to expand the article, Napoléon (1927 film), in the next few days. I have removed your changes because you made extraordinary claims without citing any kind of published source. The expansion I have planned will draw from a bunch of sources but the most important one is Brownlow's book. Thanks for your interest in the film! And yes, it is a great film. DYK for Napoléon (1927 film)
editOn 14 March 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Napoléon (1927 film), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that, at the age of 89, producer and director Abel Gance (pictured) viewed a restoration of his French epic silent film Napoléon in Telluride, Colorado? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Napoléon (1927 film). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Living people need better sources
editI took out some negative stuff you wrote about Carmine Coppola at Napoléon (1927 film). You used an Amazon review page to get the negative comments about his score. Because of the guidelines at WP:BLP, you need a more reliable source than that for such negative opinions about a living person, and ideally you should say who said it per WP:ATTRIBUTEPOV. For instance, you could say "John Critic wrote in Some Newspaper that Carmine Coppola's score was less satisfying than Carl Davis's because..." and so on.
