References edit

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them.) WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which has a button "Cite" click on it
  2. Then click on "Automatic" or "Manual"
  3. For Manual: Choose the most appropriate template and fill in the details, then click "Insert"
  4. For Automatic: Paste the URL or PMID/PMC and click "Generate" and if the article is available on PubMed Central, Citoid will populate a citation which can be inserted by clicking "Insert"

We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 22:22, 30 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

March 2020 edit

Hello Bernardo Seibert. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Bernardo Seibert. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Bernardo Seibert|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Bilby (talk) 00:53, 20 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the text you added to your user page - that was really good. Unfortunately, under the Terms of Use and Wikipedia's paid editing policy, you need to add a bit more - specifically, a list of articles which you have been employed to edit and who you were employed by. If you could just add that it will meet all main requirements, and all will be good. Thanks! - Bilby (talk) 03:56, 20 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks again. Presuming that is all of the paid editing you have engaged in here, then those declarations are what the Terms of Use ask that you do. Thank you. - Bilby (talk) 04:20, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

The paid editing requirements also require that you provide a link on your userpage to your accounts on other websites, such as Upwork, where you advertise or solicit paid editing work. You still have not complied with this requirement; please add a link to all such accounts on your userpage before you continue to edit. It also appears that your userpage statement "My consulting is paid, not the articles I create" is not the case, given the reviews on your Upwork profile specifically mention you accepting jobs to write Wikipedia articles; please remove this. Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. Most new articles start out as Stub-Class or Start-Class and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

If your account is more than four days old and you have made at least 10 edits, you can create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

July 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from AppValley. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Considering you still haven't complied with Yunshui's request above, which is part of the terms of use, if you remove this again, I will be requesting an indefinite block on your account for disruption and failure to adhere to the terms of use. Also consider this a warning for edit warring, too. Praxidicae (talk) 19:32, 24 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MER-C 10:03, 25 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was blocked because moderation believed my account was only for spamming and advertising. I believe that's an unfair assessment because:

1 - Yes, I am a Wikipedia consultant, usually hired by marketing agencies who want their clients posted on Wikipedia. I usually receive over 100 invitations for interviews per month, from those clients on Upwork, and I filter their request according to Wikipedia's verifiability and notability. Proof is that I have seen very few remarks on the quality of edits, and with the exception of one page, every single one of the pages I have created were found within Wiki's scope by respective projects.

2 - I have not used Wikipedia only for advertising purposes. There are plenty of edits on Urological issues and implants which I have contributed.

Decline reason:

It seems that you have yet to fully comply with WP:PAID. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 15:00, 18 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
