I am a teenage director. This film will be coming out on June 13, 2014. Not to be rude, but personally I do not think that I should have my page deleted just because the movie is coming out in 2014. And does it really matter that my actors are not notable, since this is their first film too. HorrorDirector (talk) 18:26, 3 April 2012 (UTC)HorrorDirector

I remember wanting to talk to you about something with talk pages... I came across the Torres page, so my tiny brain remembered.
FYI... WikiProject Biography no longer uses "importance" or "priority" parameters. They have been replaced by work-group priority... politician-priority=, sports-priority=, a&e-priority, etc. Also, you listed Torres with the a&e-work-group, when he should have had musician-work-group. I'm not sure if you are aware of this group. Bgwhite (talk) 07:58, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

Seamus article
Bearian, I need advice about the Seamus article. Yesterday, an admin put the article under full protection until May 7th because of edit disputes. I think that there was a belief by the admin that some degree of consensus could be reached. However, based on what I've been seeing on the talk page, the number of disputes just keeps increasing. I've stopped commenting on the Talk page for now because new threads keep popping up. I count at least 7 different issues (see list below) that are in question, and I'm concerned that the edit warring will resume on May 7th. What can be done to help resolve some of these issues? Issues
- (1) Quote by PETA -- there is a proposal to combine two quotes from different sources by the President of PETA
- (2) Sentence about super PACs -- two super PACs have been founded regarding the Seamus incident; discussion about if info should be removed.
- (3) Sentence about animal cruelty databases -- Romney is listed in two privately-run databases; discussion about if info should be restored.
- (4) Sentence about Gail Collins, who wrote 50 article about Seamus; discussion about if info should be removed.
- (5) Comments about Obama's jokes at the White House Correspondents Dinner
- (6) The Obama Eats Dogs meme -- there is a proposal to add this to the article.
- (7) NPOV tags -- there is a discussion that the entire article is not neutral because it doesn't include info about Obama eating dogs.
Thank you. Debbie W. 17:42, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi Bearian, hope things are going well for you. I just wanted to let you know that I removed some of your comments on Wikipedia talk:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Fæ (see history). That section probably should have been in an archive box (I'll have to go and update the procedures page to make sure the trainee clerks know that in the future), but those statements normally are not for threaded discussion regardless. Feel free to adapt your points into a statement for the talk page or evidence for the evidence page though. Best, NW (Talk) 22:05, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

Help with Bloomberg Law
Hi-there. I have been working on a new draft of the Bloomberg Law article that currently lacks any real content or citation. I am reaching out to you directly because I have sought guidance elsewhere, but nobody has shown enough interest in the subject to help review or implement the edits to the existing article. I prefer not to make edits myself because I do some work with Bloomberg and realize this creates a conflict of interest, which I have acknowledged here. With your expertise in law I was wondering if you would be willing to review my draft and, if deemed appropriate, help implement them into the existing article. My draft can be found here. Thank you for your time! --RivBitz (talk) 20:24, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Revisiting San Jose Hospital & Trauma Center
Since the decision to keep this article, every single reference source was deleted, as was some of the info about the hospital. Yesterday, I pretty much rewrote the article and in the talk page under ==Deleted material== I provided much information about some of the sources that were deleted and the new sources I added. Since you commented in the deletion discussion, I thought you may be interested to revisit this article and see what you think of my updates and comments. Bill Pollard (talk) 12:52, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Dowd on Sandusky
Hi Bearian, the day after Dowd's column on the Sandusky case you added this quote: "Like the Roman Catholic Church hierarchy, the Penn State hierarchy appears to have covered up pedophile crimes to protect its brand." Without giving any editorial notice, the Times site has removed the sentence. I've never run into this, but since you've been around WP for quite a while, I bring it to you: How do we deal with a quote that's no longer in the given citation? (I hope the Times isn't doing this as a matter of practice.) Best, – dave :: ccnut – 16:49, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
Nevermind: after I tagged it, another editor removed the quote altogether, then another editor verified it in the print edition, added the quote again, and removed the link since the on-line version has changed. – dave :: ccnut – 21:01, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
