Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. KTC (talk) 11:11, 29 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Coole National School, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Murry1975 (talk) 08:17, 11 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Coole National School

edit

The article Coole National School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, I tried sourcing but only found directory entries and primary source of school blog website.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:His Excellency, The Most Reverend, Dr. Michael Smith, Bishop of Meath.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:08, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Agher Church, side front.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Agher Church, side front.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Deletion discussion about Coole National School

edit

Hello, Baron Langford,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Coole National School should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Coole National School .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 11:47, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Removing AfD template

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Coole National School. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it. Snotbot  t • c »  21:29, 12 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Honorifics

edit

Hiya. You may want to have a quick look at the MOS:HONORIFIC guidelines. In general "styles and honorifics should not be included in front of the name". So, we don't prefix names with "Right Honourable" or "His/Her Excellency" or whatever. An exception being where the honourific/prefix is commonly attached to the name in normal usage/speech (like "Mother Teresa" or similar). Guliolopez (talk) 14:49, 11 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Assessment

edit

Hi. Me again. I notice that you recently reviewed and assessed this school article. If you're interested in joining the editorial assessment team, you should read the relevant project page at: WP:ASSESS. At the most basic level, a B-Class article should be "suitably referenced, with inline citations where necessary". That article has no evident references or in-line cites. Hence I don't think it meets the minimum requirement. Anyway, if you are going to be reviewing and assessing articles like that, at a basic level you should read the assessment guidelines and make sure it meets the criteria before applying a rating. Cheers. Guliolopez (talk) 15:09, 11 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Summerhill, County Meath may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sisters of Loreto, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Meath, Cork and LondonDerry (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
