Thanks for uploading File:Inter-A retreat.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Derrick-Palmer.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Derrick-Palmer.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.thecity.nyc/staten-island/2022/3/24/22995196/amazon-workers-staten-island-union-vote. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Elgin, Surrey—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 06:25, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from hijacking pages as you did with Elgin. Should you believe the subject you were writing about deserves an article, please use the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version that you can then get feedback on. Also see Wikipedia's disambiguation guideline which indicates how to handle separate subjects with similar names. If you continue to hijack an existing article, you may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask me on my talk page. I have reverted your hijacking of Elgin, and moved your content to Draft:Elgin, Surrey, but if you want that page to be fit to move to mainspace you need to provide references to demonstrate the subject's notability. - David Biddulph (talk) 07:37, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at South Westminster, you may be blocked from editing. David Biddulph (talk) 13:19, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

I apologize, i used information found at the Surrey History website on the South Westminster page, but did not add citations Barisam (talk) 08:29, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
