WikiProject Short descriptionsEdit

Hi there. Good to see you have joined the WikiProject! Good to have new members on board. I would recommend you add your name to the list on the project page. I hope you can help us to bring down the number of articles without a shortdesc. If you have anymore questions, please do ask. Regards, Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 13:30, 22 August 2019 (UTC)

Your thread has been archivedEdit

Hi BEANS X2! You created a thread called NOT in category? at Wikipedia:Teahouse, but it has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days. You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please create a new thread.

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!Edit

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

The Great April Fools' Day Edit War of 2020Edit

Hello BEANS X2, and Happy April 1st. You have made a couple of edits to Wikipedia:April Fools/April Fools' Day 2020/The Great April Fools' Day Edit War of 2020 that were probably made in good faith, but actually disrupt our work on the article. We are trying to document an ongoing edit war that is considered humorous. Please don't make it more difficult for us than it has to be. Renerpho (talk) 14:46, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

@BEANS X2: I am trying to shut the fitishism stuff down, but that's not happening on the page you edit, it comes from the April Fool's Day page.Renerpho (talk) 14:47, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Renerpho, WDYM? I am updating the section titles and improving readability. >>BEANS X2t 14:50, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
(edit conflict) I only add things to the timeline that actually appeared on WP:APRIL2020. It does not represent my opinion; I am just copying what other people have been saying in the edit war. For example, I couldn't care less about the 'fetishes', I was just quoting Jebcubed in this edit. >>BEANS X2t 14:50, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
BEANS X2 I see! Alright, sorry then.Renerpho (talk) 14:58, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
NP! I think we all get confused when navigating that page's history. >>BEANS X2t 15:06, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Very much so!! Renerpho (talk) 15:09, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
BEANS X2 It wasn't you who tried to stop the fetishisms? Renerpho (talk) 14:55, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
See my above reply, Jebcubed renamed the section title to Stop with the fetishes seriously, it's just disgusting. I just added it to the page. proof >>BEANS X2t 14:58, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Desktop improvements prototypeEdit

Hello, BEANS X2!

Thanks for taking the time to participate in the user feedback round for our desktop improvements prototype. This feedback is super valuable to us and is currently being used to determine our next steps. We have published a report gathering the main takeaways from the feedback and highlighting the changes we’ll make based on this feedback. Please take a look and give us your thoughts on the talk page of the report. To learn more about the project overall and the other features we’re planning on building in the future, check out the main project page.

Honestly, I would go to the talk page, if I didn't have to use 'Structured discussions' (ugh) >>BEANS X2t 10:39, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
