Ways to improve La Thoại Tân

edit

Hi, I'm Boleyn. Bảo Ngậu, thanks for creating La Thoại Tân!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please WP:INLINECITE all the references on this. It will be very hard for anyone else to do, and without it, it's difficult for readers to use the article for research. Thanks.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

  Hello, I'm Dl2000. An edit that you recently made to La Thoại Tân seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Dl2000 (talk) 22:44, 3 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

  Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Arbitrator (Vietnamese drama series). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. AussieLegend () 11:05, 6 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:AussieLegend. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. AussieLegend () 11:12, 6 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Please do not make edits like this again. Your edits reintroduced multiple errors that had already been fixed here. These errors are too numerous to list all of them but included:
  • addition of infobox fields that do not exist in {{infobox television}}
  • improper use of infobox fields that do exist
  • incorrectly formatting the infobox
  • improper use of flags in the infobox
  • violation of WP:REDNOT
  • listing crew, which we generally do not do in TV articles
  • improper headings in the cast section
  • improper use of bolding per MOS:BOLD
  • excessive and unnecessary use of italics
  • improper listing in the cast section per MOS:TV - for example we do not use ellipses, we use "as"
  • improperly linking dates
  • invalid date formats per MOS:DATE
  • inclusion of an unnecessary "See also" section - See also sections should not include links that are already linked in the article or links to articles that do not exist - See WP:SEEALSO
  • Unnecessary/improper formatting in {{reflist}}

Your edits also resulted in the article being added to Category:Pages using infobox television with unknown parameters, a category used to identify articles in which {{Infobox television}} is used with errors. All of the edits in the article were previously fixed. By all means add or remove content appropriately and as necessary but please do not reintroduce the multiple errors that were corrected. Please ensure that you follow the Manual of Style. Thank you. --AussieLegend () 11:34, 6 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at The Arbitrator (Vietnamese drama series) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Bảo Long

Your unproductive reversions of my repairs to Bảo Long are, at best, very rude. I see that you have been warned repeatedly for your rudeness. I'm informing you that I intend to make a report at either WP:AIV or WP:ANI. Pdfpdf (talk) 15:20, 6 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

edit

Hello, Bảo Ngậu. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
