Bakhtiaris are Turkic in origin edit

What are you doing? Please stop do not undo the correct edition. Bakhtiaris are Turkic in origin but have converted over time real bakhtiarys admit to this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turkempire (talkcontribs) 05:34, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

You are delusional. The Bakhtiaris are most certainly not Turkic in origin. If they were, they would have not been mentioned only once in the link you provided about the Qashqai from Iranica.

I have many real sources if you want to see them but they are not on computer yet. I will scan them for you. Bakhtiaris are 100% Turkic some of them are admixed with Persians and Lurs. Most Persians are Turkic actually. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turkempire (talkcontribs) 05:49, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

"Most Persians are Turkic actually" this alone is proof that you are cognitively disabled. The Fouladvands are a Lur tribe, cry harder.

Fouladvands were originally called Fouladloo who are originally Turks of the Qashqai clan under the branch of Bakhtiar but some became Persianized. My family's name is Fouladloo and we call ourselves Bakhtiari. Search Fouladloo history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turkempire (talkcontribs) 06:09, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

First the Laks say that we Fouladvands are actually Lak. Now you, an idiot, say that we Fouladvands are Qashqai. When will people learn... If you want actual information about the Fouladvand tribe, try this: http://yaftenews.ir/introduction/book-introduction/7786-fooladvand.html We're not of Turkic origin.

Hey, rejimi, I can see you. Can you provide an actual source proving that specifically the Fouladvands are of Qashqai origin? If not, shut up.

There are 20,000+ Qashqai Turks in Lorestan state in the city of Azna and very many have names of Fouladloo. Fouladloos are older than the Fouladvands who derive from the Fouladloos. You are Turkic be proud of this. We are related we should not fight.

You literally invented a tribe. There are no results in English for Fouladloo Qashqai. You are lying.

Please do your research because you will learn about your true culture and identity that you are Turkic. We are rectifying many generations of of lost culture. You will learn to be proud Turkic I am optimistic :) If you are in Iran I will be exciting to meet you in person. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turkempire (talkcontribs) 06:52, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

There is no Fouladloo Qashqai tribe. The only Fouladloos are Shahsevan and live in Ardebil. Tl;dr, you're lying. - Azadmard

December 2021 edit

Your recent editing history at Frood Fouladvand shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. To whom this may concern, In my defence, let me please explain what exactly is going on. A pan-Turk is attempting to change the wiki page of a formerly famous Bakhtiari political activist and attempting to claim that the Lur tribe he comes from is Turkic. This individual, who goes by the name of Turkempire, has not provided a shred of evidence in favour of this idea. I am attempting to prevent the memory of a dead man from being tarnished by someone with political motives. How would I be able to report this individual? Azadmard

Request reason:

I feel that I have demonstrated very clearly that I am in fact a worthy contributor to Wikipedia. Prior to my edits, the page for Frood Fouladvand consisted of only two lines. Noticing this, I took a plethora of sources and combined them into a fairly lengthy article, providing great detail about the activities of the man in question. Problems began to arise when a certain individual named "Turkempire" (frankly, the name should be a giveaway) decided to repetitively insist that the Fouladvands descend from a supposed Qashqai tribe called Fouladloo, and that all Bakhtiaris are in fact Qashqai. He did not actually provide any evidence of this, in this link: https://iranicaonline.org/articles/qasqai-tribal-confederacy-i which he used as a source, the Bakhtiaris are only mentioned once. The Fouladvands are not mentioned at all. More curious is that there is no Qashqai tribe named Fouladloo. There is, however, a Shahsevan tribe from Ardebil named Fouladloo, but the distance from Ardebil (where the Fouladloo live) and Shiraz (where most Qashqai live) is very large. http://ghashghai.blogfa.com/post/60 is the only source (not especially reliable, but this is virtually all the information there is) which mentions the Fouladloo at all, and they're not referred to as Qashqai in this blogpost. This isn't a matter of point of view, but a matter of objectivity. There was very clearly someone trying to push the narrative that Fouladvands are of "Fouladloo Qashqai" origin. Given that he was trying to vandalise the article that I had taken four hours to prepare, I decided to repeatedly undo his edits. Look, I am a new user. I had no idea there was even such a thing as "edit wars" before. All I know, is that the other guy was making up some really crazy stuff, and then providing links as sources that did not even mention anything that he was trying to suggest. I apologise for any poor conduct, I did not know that there are protocols for these sorts of things. I suppose what I'm really asking for is a second chance. Given all of the above, I would appreciate some understanding and empathy from you all. I did after all write an article from scratch using a quite large number of sources. Finally, I struggle to see where I made any ethnic insults. If someone could please point this out to me, I'd be grateful.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:00, 4 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This will sound quite brutal, but I'm not too sure how else to make it clear. I think that is worth pointing out that the contributions that you made to the Farood Fouladvand article were not particularly outstanding. It has taken more time to bring this article even close to the required standards for WP:V, WP:RS, WP:FRINGE, WP:UNDUE, WP:NPOV, than it did for you to make the initial expansion. So please don't make a big thing of "wrote an article from scratch" because you did not do a good job of it. I apologise if this is coming across as harsh, but I think that you, and anyone else reading this page, should not think that your contributions to the Frood Fouladvand page were what you make them out to be in your unblock notice.

Also, until you satisfactorily explain the Nijnij567 account, you stand little chance of ever being unblocked. Mako001 (C)  (T) (The Alternate Mako) 15:26, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mako, thanks for letting me know what you think of my contributions. I'd like to point out that I introduced information about Fouladvand that no Wikipedia editor for years had even heard of, but whatever. I do appreciate your thoughts on the page as I had left it, as this will allow me (as a new user) to improve on the way I write articles, provided I'm ever allowed to again. The fact is though, that there aren't many sources about Fouladvand, which impacts the amount of information we can introduce about him. Having paid attention to him back in the time when he was alive, there's plenty more that I could have said, but I refrained from doing so in the absence of sources about him. Frood Fouladvand has been largely forgotten nowadays, and to find any sources at all to back up the claims is nothing short of a miracle. You'll find that even if you search in Persian, you won't find as much information compiled in one place.

Look, I am a new user, and didn't know anything about any of the rules. I didn't know anything about the style of writing either. I simply came here to correct misinformation spread about certain tribes (this isn't POV, I actually have book and encyclopedia sources, and am willing to share them) and to add to pages of Iranians in the English language. I apologise for having broken any. Edit warring is another example of another thing that I did not previously know about. Let me ask you something. If this was your first day as a Wikipedia user, how would you feel to be treated the way I currently am?

As for the user Nijnij, yes, that is me. I did this to address the absurd claims made about a "Fouladloo Qashqai Tribe" that the Fouladvands somehow derive from. As I have already mentioned before, there is no evidence to support even the existence of a Fouladloo Qashqai tribe, and in the one source (which is a blogpost) in which the Fouladloo are mentioned with the Qashqai, they're referred to as Shahsevan. I was getting desperate and running out of ways to prevent vandalism of the article by a pan-Turk. I do apologise, and I'll have a clean start if you allow me the opportunity to.

Comment - To answer your question about the ethnic insults the diff is here. Specifically, "Here it is. Kurds should put down the goats, and read books for once. They might be able to save themselves from embarrassment that way.". EvergreenFir (talk) 17:08, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

I apologise. I was outraged, I cannot stand when tribal claims by Kurds happen to include my own. I do apologise. You might also consider that I calmed myself down, and removed that comment.

Hi, this is addressed both to Mako and to EvergreenFir. Can I please have some sort of update on my status?

So you are aware, I can't actually unblock you, or do anything about you being blocked, nor even give an update on your status, as I am not an admin. You have made things somewhat better for yourself by admitting that Nijnij567 was you. I will leave it up to the admins to decide if you will ever be unblocked though, since your comment above is quite a problem. Mako001 (C)  (T) (The Alternate Mako) 08:37, 31 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dear Mako, thank you for letting me know. While I do not at all intend to use the following to justify my comment about Kurds and goats (I accept fully that they they are indeed wrong and unjustifiable), I would at least like to help you understand where it came from. My tribe is Lor. Not Kurdish. There are entire books written about the origin of my tribe and its feats. In every single one we are referred to as Lor. So, when I saw for the first time that we have been labelled as Kurds. I was infuriated. I apologise for not being better able to control my anger at that point, and make a promise to improve on it. Whether a second chance is given to my by the admins, only time will tell. But this is the truth. I assume you are not from Iran like I am, so you do not know the tribal conflicts like we do, but in the case of the Lurs we are fighting for our right to an identity from people like the ones who have edited the pages showing the list of Kurdish and Laki tribes. This is not a justification, I fully accept that I was wrong. It is merely an explanation. Azadmard.

Hi, can an admin give me some kind of update about my situation?

  • First of all, apologies for the fact that you are being kept waiting for so long. There's a large backlog of unblock requests at present.
  • Wikipedia is not a medium for promoting any kind of point of view, including nationalist or tribalist points of view, and if you are here to do what you regard as "fighting for [your] right" then I'm afraid Wikipedia isn't the right place for you. If you are to have any chance of being unblocked you need to make it clear that you understand and accept that point. Also, you have said above that Nijnij567 was you, but when an editor first mentioned the idea that this account and this one might be connected, you said "don't know what you're talking about". Can you comment on that? JBW (talk) 21:16, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your response, it is highly appreciated. I have some comments with regards to what has been said.

1. I find it somewhat ironic to accuse me of being a tribalist when that is precisely what I was actually trying to stop. I will not let my people be the victims of tribalism and pan-nationalism on a medium such as Wikipedia because people actually pay attention to the stuff that is written here. Please, do your own reading on the particular topic in question before telling me that I am trying to promote some sort of tribalist agenda. If I really wanted to be a tribalist, I would have tried to press claims on certain tribes, yet that is not what I did. I used sources to push back against politically-motivated claims being made. It seems that you yourself are uninformed about the politics of the region, in which certain individuals actually do make outlandish claims all the time, and these claims have real impacts on people. You seem not to see this, and as a result think of me as being non-objective. In reality, I was actually able to provide reliable sources to discredit these outlandish claims, and you can see this for yourself in that particular talk page. You can also see that as a result of my objective approach, edits were made to that particular article. I'm not here to be anything other than objective. I apologise if things may seem otherwise, I am quite passionate about objectivity especially when it is in regards to claims made about my own people. I apologise for emotional responses, and as I have said before I promise not to repeat such responses.

2. I regret saying that second quote. It was a poorly made heat-of-the-moment decision. I apologise.

Request reason:

My reasons are as follows. First, I only remain blocked because no one was able to find the time to properly review my case. Secondly, I believe that I have indeed understood the source of my wrongdoing, as evidenced by numerous apologies and promises for certain behaviours to not be repeated. Thirdly, I do not believe that there is any actually substantive evidence that I have attempted to push a point of view as has been claimed. In fact, if anyone would like to go through the history of my page, they would be able to see that I have attempted to push back against people promoting specific points of view. However, I do admit and accept that the way in which I have done this has been fairly inappropriate, and this is something that I have already apologised for. I humbly request that the above is put into consideration. Azadmard101 (talk) 14:35, 28 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Your edit history is all the proof I need that you have been pushing a point of view. I think you are too personally invested in this topic to be able to, at least at this time, edit about it objectively and interact with other editors about it in a civil manner. Personally I don't see a pathway to you being unblocked that does not involve at least some form of a temporary topic ban from editing about ethnic groups. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:59, 14 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
