Template
editInstead of creating Template:Web.com Tour Events by copy and paste, you should have moved Template:Nationwide Tour Events to Template:Web.com Tour Events. Do not mark Template:Nationwide Tour Events for deletion until all articles that use it have been changed. Your premature tagging put many valid articles spuriously into CAT:CSD.
Do not clutter this page with draft material - you are allowed unlimited draft pages, eg. user:Assassin20X/anyfink. You will find your draft stuff that was here via the edit history. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:28, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 8
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of tournament performances by Tiger Woods, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page BMW Championship (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

PGA Tour Playoff results
editI tweaked your edits. Playoff results for a 3-player or more playoff that has players eliminated on different holes are done in a certain way. In case of the Humana, It would read in Gay's playoff box Won on second extra hole with birdie Lingmerth eliminated with birdie on first hole. Howell's playoff box will read- Gay won with birdie on second extra hole Lingmerth eliminated with birdie on first hole. The score that wins a hole, causes a player to be eliminated is emphasized. Look at the LPGA playoff box of Choi Na-Yeon to see what I mean. Just pointing all this out for your future reference. Cheers!...William 01:06, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Don't change my edits to playoff boxes unless they contain mistakes and in the case of Charles Beljan and John Merrick, they didn't. The colors and formatting were right(for a current golfer. The playoff boxes don't get their own section and the letters are in big print) and if you don't believe me check Tiger Woods, Brandt Snedeker, Phil Mickelson, Bill Haas to name a few. I've done most of the pro playoff boxes there are at WP from scratch....William 00:31, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Trying to create a template to help me with tedious editing. It is at Template:Cr-county. The template is a list of #ifeq comparisons that inserts a link to an article based on the parameter. When I insert the template in an article the link is preceded with empty lines equal to the number of #ifeq comparisons before it in the list. For example if the parameter is equal to the fifth comparison, there will be four empty lines preceding it. Any help would be appreciated.
Assassin20X (talk) 16:04, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- I've fixed the template (I replaced the multiple #ifeq's with one #switch routine, which makes the whole thing a bit simpler). I've also made it so, for example {{subst:Cr-county|GLO}} just leaves Gloucestershire so there is no need to keep this transcluded (which is probably better). Just remember not to overlink to these pages! (I "could" probably make it so it doesn't link by default too if needed....) Mdann52 (talk) 17:21, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, I really appreciate your help Assassin20X (talk) 17:38, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
