Re: Indian Football plan

This looks super for a long term. We need to rope in more people if we want to keep team season pages up-to-date. Currently only Atletico and NE United season pages have seen enough editors. Coderzombie (talk) 04:42, 31 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Attendances

I noticed that you've removed Attendances section in 2014 Indian Super League. I think attendances are important statistics for the league and given that we have official source for the attendances, it's a good to keep on the page. Coderzombie (talk) 09:27, 6 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Source for clean sheets and assists

I noticed you reverted clean-sheets and assists to the original source, same as top scorers. ISL official site has changed the structure of the page and they have separate URL for each of these pages, which was not the case previously. That's why I forked the source for assists and clean sheets. Coderzombie (talk) 17:46, 26 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Reference Errors on 3 December

Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:37, 4 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Update

Aha, you're back at the right time, my young friend. As of now Fed Cup and I-League pages are almost updated at this time. With ISL winding down, team season pages, both ISL and I-League, need a lot of work. Coderzombie (talk) 15:34, 11 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Oh yes, 2014–15 I-League U19 starts on 13th. Coderzombie (talk) 16:18, 11 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

ISL Cleanup

Much like ISL enthusiasm new editors have extensively started adding redundant information to ISL and ISL final pages. And if anyone attempts a clean-up like you did, it'll be reverted soon. It'll require a lot of clean-up once the season is over. Coderzombie (talk) 17:16, 14 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

ISL Finals

Ok, I agree. Sorry for the trouble and Can I do it on the final Match? Whitetararaj (talk) 14:33, 16 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ranchi Rays, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Conglomerate. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Indian Super League final

Hi, on 2014 Indian Super League Final, the substitutes haven't been written into the match section. I often make a mess of technical details, so I'd be grateful if you could add them in. Thank you '''tAD''' (talk) 23:02, 21 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Cheers. Seems an exciting league which is bringing in passionate support, hope to see a lot more of it in years to come '''tAD''' (talk) 23:13, 21 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

BFC 3rd kit.

Ah yes. Fixed. Coderzombie (talk) 04:43, 24 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Federation Cup

Do you know any reliable sources for Federation cup, especially for match-by-match statistics like substitution? goal and soccerway don't have those details. Coderzombie (talk) 19:22, 28 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, once ISL was over, editors were bound to go away. But with current set of editors (5–6 of us, at best estimate), we can only maintain tournament pages. I am maintaining BFC season page, but I doubt we have enough editors to handle season pages of all other teams. Coderzombie (talk) 19:46, 28 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Post ISL, AIFF has gone to hibernation. Terrible management. Ten Action was supposed to broadcast games, but because of "technical issues", they can't. Coderzombie (talk) 13:21, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Meanwhile, Pune U19 completed a 7-1 win. But neither site, nor official twitter feed has goal scorers and times :-/ Coderzombie (talk) 13:25, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

India vs Palestine

India played against Palestine on 6 October. But there is some conflicting information about who scored the first goal. Some articles claim it was Chhetri, while others credited it to Robin. Can you look up a definitive source? Coderzombie (talk) 14:52, 5 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Most caps and goals

A new section could be a good idea too, but considering we are in early stages of the league and the template supports it, but may be after a couple of seasons, a new section could be done. Coderzombie (talk) 08:27, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

As the mid season break is here, would appreciate your help in proof-reading, improving and general cleaning of 2014–15 Bengaluru FC season article. Other than individual statistics, I have updated everything. Please have a look Coderzombie (talk) 10:54, 10 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

About the bad language

I know mate, sorry about that. got seriously pissed-off trying to reason with user "SaUp2014" who doesn't understand how the game of football is played. He gave debuts to players who haven't played games as if everyone in the squad gets a game automatically without playing! How do you reason with this guy?

Thanks for the reply mate. I am new to wikipedia editing and don't know who to complain to!

Category move?

Why did you move Category:Lists of association football players by club in India to Category:Lists of footballers by club in India? I created it in accordance with Category:Lists of association football players by club in England Coderzombie (talk) 08:32, 16 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Don't think we need admin for this. We can just redirect Category:Lists of footballers by club in India to Category:Lists of association football players by club in India, unless you actually want to delete the former. Coderzombie (talk) 11:00, 16 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

I noticed your edit on a page that had used one of your copyrighted images, which had been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons with a claim it was under a CC-BY-SA-4.0 licence. The Wikicommons page https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Subrata_Pal.jpg notes that it will be removed within 7 days if the uploader does not provide evidence that they have permission to upload it. However, you may want to see if you can report the uploader to Wikimedia Commons or request it be removed immediately - there are some links at the top of this page that may help: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Copyright_violations

Subrata Paul Personal Life

Hi, I dont see the reason for not adding the personal life information of the current Indian football team's captain. I cannot give you the source links to this info as it is not made public online but there were a few news paper articles about his marriage. Also I am a friend of the family. SSB Ranidanga

SSB Ranidanga is one of the two venues for 2015 I-League 2nd Division. Google search for it doesn't have any significant information. If it holds 2nd division league, I think it's significant enough for a wiki page. Coderzombie (talk) 04:55, 7 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thoughts on team season pages

I was just browsing through the team season pages of ISL and I-League. And it seems barring a very very few pages like Kerala, Atletico Kolkata or Bengaluru other pages are rarely updated beyond a few edits. I propose going forward we stop creating these pages. What I mean is, it's mostly you and me who create the initial page and then we can't update all pages, someone else has to take a responsibility. So let any other enthusiastic editor create the page, hoping there'll be other than us who create pages. Thoughts? Coderzombie (talk) 14:35, 9 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Jackichand Singh's appearances

I know that there is some general disagreement on Jackichand's appearances, and since you've shown interest in the article it would probably be better to discuss this matter on [Talk:Jackichand Singh Jackichand's talk page] rather than constantly undo each other's edits.
